Very nice Mazda sales center. Financial Manager (Mike) works fast and works well. If you've gotta finance, he'll give you the best option he can (even if it's not Mazda's financing). Servicing Manager (Scott) is efficient and clear with car delivery, options, and scheduling. 10/10 their core services required for car purchases are reliable. If you want a recommendation regarding trustworthy salesman on the floor, I'd recommend asking for Luis (I believe his last name starts with a G).
He's a little new, but he can be trusted to be straight-forward. He'll answer Yes/No questions with Yes or No. If you say you don't need something or inquire to an adjustment, he'll do it for you if he can. Feels more like a guide or aid rather than a salesman, and patient to boot.

Elwood was amazing! He was super happy to meet with us multiple times and listened to what we were looking or and searched until we found the right car! He was great at keeping in contact with us and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a car, go to Bountiful Mazda and ask for Elwood! He took the time to get to know us and even after purchasing the car is still happy to answer questions and help with all of our needs! We even included him in the I just bought a car photo!

I have only had Mazda service my car since I bought it. I received a 100% tires for life contract at purchase because my car was being used by the dealership owner and had 20,000 miles on it. That contact was tied to a 6 months/5000 miles service contact. During COVID I did not drive my car and went a year without service- thus I lost the tires for life option.
It was down graded to a 50% off tires. OUCH. I have been loyal to Bountiful Mazda and at the first sign of missing a time or miles they decide to not be loyal back. My husband still wants to use the Mazda service to keep the car in good running order. He is a good guy. You win.

My experience getting my CX5 2022 at Bountiful Mazda was excellent. My first impression of this dealership is their waiting area (both for new purchase and service clients) is open and clean. Gary helped us throughout the whole process. He is patient and genuine. I think most customers understand the dealership is after profit and as customers, we just want a fair deal.
I feel Bountiful Mazda does a good job on this aspect. They are not like some other dealership who throw out a quote that is way higher than their bottom line at the first time. This is just a red flag to me, and I don't want to make a deal with those kind of cunning agents. By comparison, I think Bountiful Mazda is a dealership who makes profit with ethics base on my personal experience.
They proposed a relatively reasonable quote in the first place and I don't see much hiding fees. I hope Bountiful Mazda continue this business culture and hope future customers also have a pleasant experience with them. I definitely recommend this dealership.

Great dealership to make a car purchase. Josh went out of his way to find a Mazda elsewhere because I needed a vehicle quickly. Mark gave us easy to understand choices of which way was best to finance our new vehicle. Scotty made sure that we got the appropriate accessories to protect our vehicle. Mike in finance secured an excellent interest rate for us. I was also happy to see a friend of mine, Elwood working at Bountiful Mazda. Thank you to Bountiful Mazda!

Tim May is fantastic! My wife and I went in to get her a car. Tim actually spoke to my wife making sure to cover things she might want or need(which is unusual in Utah, they seem to always talk to me the husband) he was genuine, well read on the vehicle we wanted and made buying the car a breeze. The car had not arrived at the dealership yet so he even set us up with a loner.
This was of course because he got us top dollar for our trade in. To top it off he remembered the add-ons we wanted and got us all set up with there fantastic parts guy so that the vehicle will have everything put on by delivery. I can't say enough good things, thanks Bountiful Mazda.

Excellent excellent excellent! This has been the best car purchasing experience I've ever had. While waiting for an oil change, I received a notification with a link from the mechanic. The link was a short video regarding my car. The mechanic had the hood of my car open doing an oil change and indicated specifics on tire and break wear, car fluid levels and overall diagnostics.
Staff was extremely friendly and professional. I was in and out in about 35 minutes. I'm incredibly pleased to have purchased my car from Bountiful Mazda. I'm impressed by the service and have found this to be an entirely hassle-free experience. These guys are awesome!

Had the BEST car buying experience today at Bountiful Mazda! Everyone we came in contact with was great, from sales (Josh is amazing) to service, to parts and finance. Everyone seemed very eager to make our experience great! The free tires and oil changes for life are definitely a huge perk as well! Thank you for making buying a car hassle free!

Had an appointment at their invitation for a free oil change for educators. They called the morning of to confirm my appointment. Arrange a substitute and take morning off to get this done. Get there (literally within 15 minutes of them confirming the appointment) only to be told they decided to discontinue the service and educators no longer get the free oil change.
They invited me to still do the oil change at full price. Bait and switch! EDIT: they called me back and ended up doing the oil change at a later date. They apologized for the mistake in booking and did the oil change for free. I updated my review and changed the stars from 1 to 4.

These guys are AMAZING! Weston, Dina, Scotty and Mike were all so great! Very kind and were genuinely interested in helping me with my lease. : I had just had a very long/exhausting day at Young Mazda in So. Ogden.negotiating with the guys there on a 2021 Mazda CX-5 Touring. They were all very evasive and wouldn't answer some basic questions regarding the details of my lease, trying to screw me over.
I finally walked away from the Young Mazda dealership. I then called Weston at Bountiful Mazda dealership. He was very responsive to my text. Weston even made a phone call to the dealership on his day off, to make sure I got taken care of. I drove right over to Bountiful Mazda, meeting Dina, Scotty and Mike. All three were very professional, kind and straightforward. Bountiful Dealership had a much cheaper price on their Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring.
Young Mazda dealership in Ogden wanted to charge me thousands more $$ on THEIR Mazda CX-5 Touring. So I got lucky! The team at Bountiful Mazda were so easy to work with, definitely a breath of fresh air! I am so grateful I chose to do business with Bountiful Mazda! The BEST EVER

I just purchased a car from this dealership after some rotten experiences at other dealerships around the city. Part of what kept me coming back to Bountiful Mazada a couple times to browse was Dina. She was very friendly, helpful and very low key. I didn't get pushed to decide on a vehicle and she worked with us multiple times while I test drove vehicles and debated what I wanted to do.
They do get dinged a star because of their insistance on adding a charge for some program that pays you if you vehicle gets stolen. They had no opt out option and you know that their CEO is getting a healthy kickback. I almost walked because there is no reason for them to push this on any customer and it seems entirely unprofessional to have this included in the first place.

I am so happy with the service department! Have been there twice and both times they have gone above and beyond to help me. Today I came out of smiths and realized my back rear mud flap was just hanging on. I went across the street with grocery's and no appointment. Within 5 mins they fixed my car without me having to exit my vehicle and I was on my way! Did not charge me! Friendly, knowledgeable and impeccable service. Why would you go anywhere else! Thank you!

This is not the place to purchase or service your vehicle. sale staff give you the run around, won't get back with you after the sale. Service department are the worst in the world. No shuttle service, no courtesy vehicle, no car wash. Mazda can be a great car. Manufacture need to pay attention on sale and service. I heard service in Murray is 100 times better.

I purchased a used 2018 Mazda CX-5 that was "certified" after it was 1 year old and normal miles. The car had one previous owner and it was traded in. Everything has worked well on the car except the rain sensor and it's housing broke free from the windshield and was dangling. I took it to Bountiful Mazda to have it re-attached but they said I needed a new sensor which is pricey, (and obviously there would be a sizeable charge to have them install it). So, I drove back to Ogden where I live and a local auto glass shop, (the first one I stopped at), re-attached the original sensor for a very small labor charge, $15, and had me on my way very quickly.
The sensor looks as it should and functions perfectly, (I tested it by misting the windshield), which bends my mind back towards believing that most dealers talk about "customer support" but don't really practice it if it is at all inconvenient for them. The car did not need a new rain sensor but of course buying one through BMazda and having them install it would have made them some very easy, and can I say, dishonest cash. Again, the 1-2 year "old" sensor works perfectly.
This was my first repair experience with Bountiful Mazda's "customer care". We'll see how they hold to their talk next time but my wallet and common sense will likely lead me to a more reputable shop.

This dealership is absolutely amazing! They were kind, patient, easy to work with and consistent but not pushy. I was so happy with Doug as my salesman and Bryton as my financial officer. Highly recommend going here for your car! I loveeeeee my CX-5 and am going back for my next car without a doubt!

This dealership has created such a positive experience for me. I recently leased a new Mazda3 from them but had gone in multiple times beforehand to test drive different vehicles. I worked with Weston every time I went in and for leasing my new Mazda. He and the several other employees I worked with are not pushy at all (which I experienced a lot at other dealerships). I would definitely recommend coming here for all of your sales related inquiries.

UPDATE (4 stars): My wife insisted that we return the vehicle. We took it back two days later. It definitely was a no-hassle experience. We ended up not paying a penny for anything. I was extremely satisfied with the experience of returning the car (although I still wish I could have kept it). Thanks Bountiful Mazda for your understanding. The only reason I did 4-star instead of 5-star rating is because of the buying experience below.
The experience of the return would definitely merit a 5-star rating. ORIGINAL (2 stars): We bought a used 2012 Toyota Corolla from Bountiful Mazda. This dealership contributes to the stereotype of shady, untrustworthy used car dealers. Garth was the salesperson who sold me the car. He was pleasant person to work with, but there were several trending actions that lost my trust of this dealership throughout the buying process.
I admit that there were flags that probably should have warned me to discontinue to purchasing process or at least put in several hours of research into this particular car, but I mistakenly trusted the dealership as a replacement. The first signs of shadiness that began the downward trend were little actions such as talking around questions of services on that Carfax report that were performed at the dealership prior to listing the car. Garth was unable, or unwilling, to say what services were done on multiple Carfax services recently performed at his dealership.
Another frustrating thing that I keep kicking myself for is that the key they gave me with the sale does not open the trunk. If you are familiar with Toyota keys, you'll recognize it as the Valet key. I was not familiar with Toyota keys, and when I asked him about the key, he said that it was the key that they received with the car. I would expect a trusted dealer to briefly explain that it did not have the capabilities of a typical key, like opening the trunk.
Once the sale was made, Garth filled out the paperwork at a price that was about $2,000 above the sticker price. At the time I thought it was a simple mistake. After seeing the pattern of distrust that I experience through the process, I would not be surprised to learn that attempting to hide a couple thousand dollars in the paperwork process is a common practice.
After we had finished with Garth, we then had to wait over an hour for 'financing' because they only had one person designated to do this process. Now, 'financing' is not what we expected especially because we were paying cash for the car. During the financing process, they hid an optional expense. Again, I should have been more careful to notice this.
While signing all the different documents of required fees and terms of the sale he slipped in an optional shadowmark service for $189. Had I known that it would cost me $189 for this signature, I would never have signed. The design of the process was meant to hide this cost, and they got me. As far as the quality of the vehicle goes, I am happy with the car I purchased.
Only time will tell if it is a lemon, but I don't have any reason to believe that the dealership is hiding anything. As a recommendation, if you are satisfied reading all the fine print of each document you sign and putting your confidence in the contracts instead of the sales force, then this dealership would be a satisfactory experience. If you trust the sales person to tell you what you are signing during the process, the I would recommend to keep looking for a different dealer that you can trust.
As an added note: My wife and I recently bought another car at Kentson, I will say that we experience a much more pleasant, trustworthy process. However; I should note with Kentson I was surprised to learn about an extra fee of nearly $400 for paying cash for vehicles (I may be remembering that number incorrectly). After they advertised as being transparent with all the fees, I was disappointed that a new fee would be added during the closing process.

The cover to my car's undercarriage completely came off in Ogden on the 4th of July after I hit a rock. I was able to clip it back on temporarily but called Bountiful Mazda the next morning. Mike answered the phone and was so polite and said he'd definitely be able to take a look at it. I told him I'd be there within an hour. He pulled in my car, looked at it, found two broken clips, replaced them, and told me it was such an easy fix to not worry about paying anything. I was so impressed. I will definitely be coming here for oil changes and servicing from now on.

I was taken advantage of here and was treated like it was my fault they messed up. I specifically told Mike Davis the service advisor not once but TWICE to not change brake pads until he talked to my husband since my husband said he would like to replace them himself. They replaced without informing me or my husband and stuck us with the bill. Mike was rude and arrogant.
Only come here if you have 3-4 hrs to spare for an oil and tire change and that's with an appointment made. Tires for life is a joke also, they only give you what's in stock and not the "nice" tires you purchased the vehicle with. Should have known we were in for it when we bought the car for the jerk of a salesman but we thought, "hey give them another try" big mistake! 5/26/17 UPDATE The manager of the dealership called me, was very apologetic and gave me a few options to rectify the situation.
He apologized for Mike's rude customer service and assured me I was a loyal customer. I was impressed with his response and genuine care for the horrible situation I was put in. Changing review from 1 star to 3.

Another excellent experience with Dianne at Bountiful Mazda. We bought a CX-3 from her back in 2015 and she was great during that whole experience. She worked with me over email since I live about 35 miles from Bountiful so that I didn't have to keep coming in a bunch of times. When we decided we wanted another Mazda, we knew who to go to. Dianne is so wonderful to work with.
She is very friendly and charismatic. She worked up paperwork for us quickly and we have never felt pressured in the process for anything, not for a car, not for add-ons. She even gave us some pizza because it had gotten late and she knew we had come straight from work and hadn't eaten. Truly a great experience, and we will be returning for future Mazdas. BMazda is absolutely the best Mazda dealership in the state, and Dianne is the best person you can go to for your car needs.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience in a time of question, frustration, and worry. BMazda really went above and beyond in making sure that I was taken care of. I sent an email with my concerns in hopes that they would be able to help me out. When I received a personal call the following morning, I knew that no matter the outcome, I would stay a loyal customer till the end.
To receive a personal call (even if the answer isn't what the customer wants) proves that these guys really do care. Thank you, Bountiful Mazda, for proving that there is still humanity in the world of car dealerships.

Bountiful Mazda is great until you need them to do something they've promised you. When we purchased our car we were promised a free tires for life. One year later I called and set an appointment. First they said they would check the contract which they did then the appointment was set. I dropped the car off. Next they told me that because I haven't had the car serviced there the contract was void. It's a turbo diesel and in order to get the oil changed the fuel filter has to be changed in the gas tank and they said they could not do that.
I explained that and was told they would call me back. One hour later they called me back and said they had re-examined my contract in the tires for life space was not signed. They probably erased it. They have no intention of honoring their promises at Bountiful Mazda. Don't buy there.

We just bought a CX-5 and they were very helpful. Thumbs up to Taylor, he was our sales person, not only he helped us and answer all our questions but he was honest with what I was getting. The deal went smooth and I am the happy owner of a Mazda. Overall all the people that worked with us were very friendly. I will definitely recommend everyone to go there.
Most important, they do not run your credit before agreeing on the price of your car. imagine. you do not have a very good credit and every dealer you go runs your credit. watch out for those tactics! Bountiful Mazda thank you for being honest!

The whole team here has been great, especially Jake. They were patient while I asked lots of questions and honest about the pros/cons of every feature. They worked with me on financing options and around my crazy work schedule. I tried other dealer s but the service and overall vibe here was the best. I would buy and recommend coming here- I bought a cx5 and was walked through all the features and set up- service was above what I expected!
