Great people! They were able to retrofit and charge the air conditioning on my classic 1966 Buick Electra 225. Prompt service and fair price. Service: Air conditioning

I needed a tow, decided to try based on other reviews and I'm so glad I did! They were extremely kind and helpful on the phone. Showed up quicker than anticipated, took care of everything without any trouble before I could barely say thank you. Next time I need a tow or work done they will be the first people I call. I was beyond impressed with everything about this place :

I asked them to fix my license plate because one of the bolts was sheared off, but they didn't fix the bolt, they used a screw, which made the license plate crooked. I called and talked to the manager, and he didn't apologize at all. He said if it was a newer Cadillac, maybe they would fix it better, but since it was an older Honda, it was good enough.

So I took my car to the Honda dealer and they fixed the bolt properly and didn't even charge me. I will never go back to Jim's. apparently my car isn't nice enough for them to feel like doing a good job.

Unable to bleed my rear brakes after replacing wheel cylinders then the master brake cylinder puked. Steve met me at my home at 630 sharp to tow my '78 Silverado to Jim's. Reliable? Absolutely Since it was in for service, I also had them replace the speedometer and time it. Keith did an exceptional job talking me through the additional costs related to the additional services. Exceptional value and stellar service. My go to for trusted quality work.

Spoke with Keith on a Monday morning and was able to get an appointment Thursday. Diagnosed bad radiator. Great communication every step of the way. The guys had our Jeep done Friday afternoon and was even able to save us a bit on original estimate. Really appreciated the level of service provided. This is a clean shop from customer area to repair bays.

Amazing service, and very quick and sharp! Can't recommend them enough. They helped me from start to finish, were extremely reasonably priced, and customer service is above and beyond. Best auto care in Rochester by a mile.

I had work done today and total bill was going to be 450 dollars. Upon looking at the work Keith, the customer service manager, I had done a month ago said there was no charge. It seems that the problem was related to the previous repair. It is obvious this is a place you can trust. Gary Jones

I came here because they were recommended by a co-worker. The first time was fine, but after today I will never go there again. I called ahead to make an appointment for an oil change and they said they would be able to give me a shuttle ride to work as long as I got there early. I showed up at 7:30 and waited until 8am. Still no shuttle. Every time I asked they said it would be there soon. Ended up having to take my keys back, drive myself to work, and barely got there in time. Don't depend on the shuttle.

Have had all my vehicles serviced her for quite a few years now. The staff here are knowledgeable and just good people. They are priced fair and only do what you ask for. No messing around. Steve is also a great guy to get advice from if you have a classic car. He knows what looks good and what doesn't. Great place to do business with.

I have always had a great experience at Jim's Auto Care. They know what they are doing and they do not pressure you into doing any extra work. I have suggested them to my friends and family. They are also local. They know Rochester and the surrounding area. They are great to talk to when they are taking you or picking you up from work.

This is an outstanding auto shop. They are trustworthy and honest and go out of their way to meet customer's schedule and needs. I'm a single woman and have never felt patronized. They also don't try to push me to have more work done than I need. Steve and Keith are great to work with.

If you are looking for reliable and trustworthy service, this is the place. Jim, Steve and staff have always treated me right. Honesty is job 1. And if you have a classic car that needs work, they can help you out there as well. Just plain good people!

Steve and the guys at "Jim's Auto" are VERY trustworthy. We used to go to Black's Auto across the road, but they were gouging us and adding stuff all the time and pressuring us to make the repairs. Since we've switched to Jim's (maybe 5 years ago?), we haven't felt this feeling of being "had", and we respect Steve and his crew for this. Jim's is a every-man's auto care shop - if you want to fix everything, they will.

If you need to pick a *priority* repair, they'll help you make sure you are safely on the road to wait until you can afford the next repair. They've warned me against expensive repairs that aren't "worth it", for example the $900 part for a rear windshield wiper. They are just real guys trying to help the local driver and earn an honest living along the way.

I've gotten a helpful tow in a blizzard, some help locating a new/better vehicle, advice on when to throw in the towel on a vehicle, times when we expected a major repair, and they found it was a smaller issue. They are an honest business in every experience my wife and I have had. I saw some ppl with some terrible reviews. MAYBE this happened, maybe not. Maybe it was a 1-time deal with a crummy employee. However, I do highly doubt it, and in the meantime, see others' testimonies, which are resoundingly positive.
