A Second Opinion What is a second opinion? People get a second opinion when they want more information and to be sure. Usually a second opinion is related to health, but people get a second opinion for lots of things! A few years ago, Mr. Teacher bought his first brand new car! He was so proud and happy to get off of work and drive. All of his cars before this were used or passed down to him. Mr.

Teacher bought his car at the local Subaru dealership. One good thing they offered was free oil changes for life. This means when the car needed new oil, Mr. Teacher could go there and get it done without paying anything. As years passed, Mr. Teacher took his car to the dealership. One time, right before the warranty ended, they found a leak. They gave Mr.

Teacher a loaner car and took care of the problem free of charge. He was very happy! But sometimes things were not always so happy. One time, after doing a walk around of the vehicle, a service member noticed that the tires looked new. "So, " Mr. Service Member said, "it looks like you got new tires recently." Mr. Teacher answered, "Yes, I did. Just got them yesterday." Mr.

Service Member then asked if Mr. Teacher would like-for twenty dollars-a tire rotation. Then things got even less happy. Actually, things got sad. Mr. Teacher took his car in to get the lifetime oil change. They took his information and off he went to the area to wait. He drank a cup of tea and played on his laptop as he waited. After about forty minutes, a young guy appeared-Mr. Mean. Mr.

Mean told Mr. Teacher that the head gasket on his car had blown creating a serious problem. Because of this, Mr. Mean said changing the oil would be a waste. He then took Mr. Teacher out to see his car. "Look, " Mr. Mean gestured, "oil has mixed into the coolant." He even showed Mr. Teacher how oil found a way-because of the blown head gasket-into the wiper fluid making it dirty! Mr.

Teacher drove away thinking about what Mr. Mean said and the funny yellow service paper with little description he had. That's when Mr. Teacher got a second opinion. He took the car to a place that specializes in Subarus. They quickly understood why he came in to them. They drained the oil and did a pressure check. Then a gentleman came out, Mr. Honest, and told Mr.

Teacher that there was no problem at all! The estimated five-thousand dollars Mr. Mean told him about made Mr. Teacher worried. But all of that went away with the news Mr. Honest told him! Also, the lady running the STI Cafe that day was helpful and kept things tidy. He said they didn't change the oil. The picture of the sticker says otherwise.

I originally bought my car from the Subaru of Thousand Oaks in California and let me tell you what a scam they have going on over there. I needed my car looked at and they wouldn't help me out unless I had my sales persons approval first and of course it was impossible getting a hold of him after 4 calls and 3 text messages I finally gave up and assumed Subaru had shafted me and I was going to get no help with my car.

Then I moved out to Vegas a few months ago and finally gave the dealership out here a try. WOW I have not gotten great service like that in so long! Jobe was my go to guy on the counter and he walked me through everything, heard about my nightmare dealing with TOs dealership and even gave me info about my car that I never knew. Also what a cool show room, they have a fish tank from the show Tanked and have the hands down best snack counter you will ever see.

I REALLY cannot say enough about how much more enjoyable the experience has been and I really wish I would have purchased my car through them but definitely gonna give them all my business from here on out.

My husband made an appointment for our service. We had to drive a couple hours to get to Vegas (our closest Subaru Dealer). When we got there, we realized that my husband had actually made the appointment for the following week. They worked with us, even though they were very busy on this Saturday. They were able to service our Subaru while we had lunch and it was finished soon after. It was probably the best experience we've had with Subaru Service. The customer service was excellent on this particular day. We will definitely be back!

This was the best buying experience I've ever had! Not only was everyone at the dealership friendly and inviting and definitely not pushy, but I love my Subaru Forester Wilderness addition! I have never felt so safe or in a vehicle that drives and handles so nicely on and off road. I live off-grid and have always been a Jeep person, but my new favorite everyday driver is my Subaru Forester.

And with today's gas prices, I can totally appreciate the great gas mileage as well. It is also a very comfortable car for traveling as I drive 4 hours to get to my cabin. The interior is absolutely beautiful oh, and I'm very well-appointed vehicle. I would definitely recommend Subaru, and definitely buying it from Subaru of Las Vegas.

I have never had an experience quite like Subaru of Las Vegas before. I have always associated car dealerships with high pressure sales, etc. That is not the case at Subaru of Las Vegas. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. Our sales person, Jaina, was knowledgeable about their vehicles and answered all of our questions and helped us get exactly what we wanted.

Everything was low key and no pressure. I felt more like we had a car "guide" so to speak. When we were finishing up the sales, she presented and offered warranties and maintenance agreements, we were never pressured to buy any of them by her or the finance manager. They were offered and explained and that was it. The whole process took around an hour start to finish. It was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. It was good enough, that we returned two weeks later and bought a second car. Great place, great people!

The Guys in service are really awesome. I had a less than delightful experience with one of the service writers on my last visit. The manager Carmen gave me a call and really assured me that will not happen again. The staff and managers of this dealership are the best. Specifically Carmen and Cody. Thank you for looking out for me and making sure my beloved car is taken care of properly.

Good sales and vehicle delivery experience. Only negative was the dealership's refusal to add all weather mats for $129.00 to the purchase price. The answer I received from the dealership is that they weren't selling a lot of cars. Couldn't manage it. Sales staff must be applying for food stamps. Part of the love experience, if you know what I mean.

It also took longer than expected to get registration info. Had to call the dealership to prompt them. Only Subaru dealership in town. No competition. Mr. Baugh contacted me. We discussed my comments above. I was reimbursed for the full price of doormats purchased from a another company. Review is now five stars.

My Subaru Outback just turned 2 years old this month and I just had my 30 K service performed. I brought the car in and hung out for the few hours needed to complete the work. I telecommute these days so I'm able to work from Subaru as easily as working from home. The atmosphere is excellent, the snacks and drinks really nice and as always the service is just far and above any I ever experienced before getting my outback! Wonderful car buying experience. Easy, no haggle. Salesman Keith was personable and spent a lot of time showing us the new functionality of our Forester. Tina in customer service found the perfect car and updated us along the way. She is exceptional. Subaru of Las Vegas is the best.
