After 21 years in business with a large retail lot, most of our customers and referral customers came to know us and began to specifically ask us to find them a certain type of used vehicle. Our retail lot starting turning into Sam's Auto Sales being a car shopper by request. Being a Personal Car Shopper happened more frequently so we sold the big retail lot we had in the city and moved back to our roots in the country to better assist you with your requests.Sam's Auto Sales now specializes in becoming "Your Personal Car Shopper".

SAMS AUTO SALES, originally Air View Sales, was formed in 1987 and focused primarily on selling pickup trucks, beds, and rust free parts. In 1990, we expanded and became a full retail lot that also offered on-site service and repair to all our customers. Our business continued to grow, and in 1994 we became SAMS AUTO SALES, expanding to our location on US 27 North in Decatur, Indiana.
The typical used and/or new car dealer marks up each vehicle $3,000 - $4,000 above his total cost. Most of the vehicles sold on dealers lots are purchased at wholesale auctions and are off lease vehicles or dealer trades. Every dealer has expenses involved in each vehicle. Typical expenses include dealer auction fees, transportation charges, administrative charges, and reconditioning and repair charges. Most dealers before putting a vehicle out for retail sale, thoroughly clean the interior and completely buff and wax the exterior.

They state they will do convertible tops, but when you drive to this "business" and are told the guy who does it is gone for a week, and to call then, not taking any information. Then I called back a week later and even left a voicemail. Then another week later, no call back. This clearly is a shop that doesn't want customers or money. I am not begging for them to do what they claim to do on they're website.
No wonder they had to sell they're business and work out of their own home. Clearly lazy. Also this Mara below me is Sam's wife. So no real or actual customer has anything good to say about this business.
