I flew from Iowa to buy a car here they picked me up I even had issues with my bank as it was a weekend they went above and beyond, it's been 10 months since I bought the car 25000 miles on the car still runs like the day I got it. thanks so much I might make a trip for the wife's car soon not as many hybrids up here.

Friendly, kind and helpful people who are not your typical sales reps. Melissa and Chuck made sure to clearly walk me through every step of the process without pushing any sales pitches and while allowing me all the time I needed to think over things. I called them 5 times before actually coming to take a look and each call was met with the same level of patience and helpfulness. At the shop itself, I was treated like family rather than a customer before, during and after the purchase. The reviews here are entirely warranted

OMG!-Worst customer service. Ive never experienced anything quite like it. My friend Beth was looking to buy (had cash in hand) We arrived hopeful & optimistic and we were excited and we're looking forward to be driving away happily and in something nice. But that was def NOT THE CASE!.We had to call a Lyft and left feeling perplexed and somewhat "belittled" We were referred to Pennington's by a sweet lady, Who in my opinion got screwed over by them, but for some reason, still had nothing but nice things to say, she even told Beth that she would prolly have better luck then she had and would more then likely be able to find something nice. BUT unlike that woman - I definitely will not be passing any type of referral on.

They were very helpful. Made buying a used car so easy. Chuck was awesome. He is super nice and friendly and so are the rest of the staff.

I believe remote buying is not going away after Covid and even though this took over 9 days due to driver shortage to have it shipped cross the country it was worth the wait

Most amazing people I've ever met in my life, so sweet, kind, genuine, and down to earth they worked with my credit, and helped me find the most perfect car! Melissa and chuck are incredible people they're not just trying to make a sell they genuinely care!

Went to look at a truck they had advertised on Craigslist, it was in great condition, low miles for the year, but there were a couple things that raised questions, there was condensation in both headlight assemblies, probably the result of power washing under the hood to detail it. Antenna was missing, small amount of damage (dent) on the rear bumper.

But mostly there was a small area inside the door jam were the paint didn't look right and was accompanied by a little rust in that area. We asked several times if they knew if it had ever been in an accident, to which they answered "not to their knowledge" And that "the report" doesn't show anything. When we asked about the tags being due, they said they hadn't smogged it yet, but would have that done the next day.

We put down a $100 deposit to simply hold it till the next day. That night, we found that exact truck, at Pennington's advertised on CarGuru, same pictures everything, only on CarGuru it stated the vehicle had THREE accidents reported. The next day, Pennington called us to let us know they went ahead and replaced both headlight assemblies, installed the antenna, had the smog complete, and it was ready to go.

When we confronted them with the information about the accidents reported on CarGuru they stated "we didn't get the report on that vehicle yet" which was contradictory to "it doesn't show anything" They said they would obtain the auto check report, and get a report from the DMV. So we waited, then they started to blow up our cell phones trying to contact us.

When I called them back, they confirmed it did in fact have three "minor" accidents reported, which were all repaired, and no frame damage. Of course how would I verify this. And was the dent on the rear bumper part of one of those three accidents? Was it four? Anyway, I felt they honestly didn't know about the accidents, but how do you "not know" a vehicle history if this is what you do everyday.

Once I told them I was no longer intetested in the vehicle, seems they couldn't comprehend that I didn't want a truck with a 3 accident history that was going to follow the vehicle around for the rest of it's life. They became a little too anxious about convincing me "what a great deal it was" Even went as far as "take it for a few days, drive it around, have your mechanic check it over before you decide" Wait. What?

Your going to just give me the keys and say "here, take it"? I'm sure I would have had to fill out all the paperwork and "purchase" it. Then be introduced to their "return policy" if I indeed decide I don't want it. I had THREE people trying to convince me to take it, all with "why don't you want it" "These are really hard to find" Well, that's good, then they shouldn't have any problem finding another buyer, just isn't going to be me.

That said, it was a great truck, and they addressed all our concerns on the issues we had, going as far as replacing parts, and I honestly got the impression they had no idea about the accidents. until I found them. The only issue is "why" wouldn't they know about this stuff.

I was looking for an old, but reliable car for my son, and Pennington Motors had the perfect car. We received very good service! Chuck, the owner and his daughter Melissa really care and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our purchase. I definitely recommend this dealership. The people are great!

I've purchased many cars in my life and by far this the best experience I've had. Chuck and his staff/family were very courteous, helpful, and were on top of every detail in the transaction. The Accord we bought was for my son and Chuck made sure that we received the best financing deal we could get. Very highly recommended!
