There really should be an option to give bad businesses like this Zero stars. Never met such a group of rude and condescending salesmen in my life. Bought multiple vehicles (to my own stupidity) not knowing how horrible they treat you after. Please make sure you read all of their multiple negative reviews before giving them your business. The GM, Josh Stein, has a case ofittle man syndrome.

He tells you directly to your face that how you feel doesn't matter and that he can sell his cars to anyone. And that he could care less about reviews. Says he has no time for that. Lenny, the tall, lurchy finance guy is a habitual liar.and likes to fight. I could go on and on but the fact is that you should Avoid these guys with all you have. There's better elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and please make sure you read all of their complaints. They're legit for sure.

They have tried to sell me a car that was already sold. they ran my wifes and myself credit already. told me not to worry about getting it delivered because "we will just see you Saturday" NO STAR BUICK GMC should be their name. credit has been negatively affected for their excuse of "this is a large dealership we have problems with inventory" that is literally your 1 job. Nancy flores was the sales person who handled this.

Angel the sales person was 100% helpful and attentive. He knew exactly what we needed and looking for. The 2022 Terrain is a.perfect fit for our family. Everyone at GoldStar were knowledgeable with great customer service. Very nice with a sense of humor. Helpful and worked with our needs when purchasing the vehicle. I recently called and spoke to a sales rep. I called, texted and emailed him over 5 times and he STILL never got back to me or sent me the information on a car I was looking at. Guess they don't need the business. His name was JD, CJ, TJ.something with 2 letters. Find a different company.

So my husband and I came to this dealership to possibly get a new car. We pulled up and I got out of the car, a man came up to me without introducing himself, automatically started pushing cars on me. I told him I had looked at the inventory online and had 3 specific cars in mind. It was like nothing I said mattered, he was offering new cars every other sentence.

The first car I drove seemed to have body damage that was caused by an accident which was not on the carfax report. The second had a check engine light on and when I told them they said. we can make that disappear. The third car I ended up liking and called a friend down for his solid advice and to help with numbers as that is his gig. The salesman Alex got super defensive and nasty at this point.

He started asking my friend what his profession was and how he would know a blue book value. Anyone can get a blue book value. Alex then said to us, "Why don't you sell her a car then?" I said that was rude and he said that, "it's his job to be rude."Never have I ever been treated like this. Alex you need etiquette man. Pushing folks and insulting them is no good. This car was supposed to be my birthday mother's day gift and you ruined it. Thanks for ruining my weekend

Was just there, and we are in the market to purchase a car. We had 1 person that said hello to us. No one came outside to help us while we looked around for 30 mins. Would I car here? No.

I came in to get another GMC vehicle serviced. The customer service as always was top notch. While there, I looked at some new trucks. Well, I then left owning a new 2022 GMC SIERRA HD. Amazing! The staff and service are 1st and foremost at the top of their list.

We were on the hunt for the new Yukon, which has been very hard to come by. Art let us know the day they were set to arrive and after looking for 6 months we were able to take one home! The staff was very personable and helpful all along the way

I was less then impressed with the two interactions I had with um. If ya need a car fast and cheap, they're ok. But keep your eye on the bottom line. I ended up with a 3000.00 extended warranty I neither need, wanted, nor desired. I may do business with them again, if I have too.

Frank and Aaron where amazing. Frank made us feel like we matter not as a SALE but as an actual person. He has great customer service and willing to go out of his way to help the customers needs. We did have a mishap with a finance guy Saul. Saul has horrible customer service and he belittles people. Saul showed have NO interest in the customer needs.

We almost walked away from our purchase do to this finance guy Saul. If it wasn't for Frank turning our experience around, we would have NOT purchase at Gold Star. Thank you Frank, Aaron and Jesus. For helping us with our purchase and for turning our experience in purchasing a vehicle around. :

My sister and I have had a bad experiences here. Before showing up to my appointment, I had told them over the phone that my truck will shake when I will drive it. I told them if it was fine to bring it to this location since I had taken it to the location in Seaside two weeks ago to check what causes the shaking, but it got worse so I wanted to come to Salinas since this is where the truck was purchased, which they told me it was fine.

Once I showed up, they were asking me about a copy of the last service, to take it back to Seaside after driving from there, and they couldn't do nothing about it. This is something they could of told me over the phone after explaining to them the whole situation over the phone. For my sister's experience, she took her vehicle here for an oil change.

We always check the cars that nothing of value is in there before drop off. After she picked up her car, she found a: lighter, pokeman card, and a Domino's Pizza napkin. She went back to complain, and they were denying that its impossible for those items to get there. Well no shit! How did it get there?! Then my sister said the employees kept looking at her as she was complaining and kept smiling like if they were making fun of her and knowing they did it. For future customers, please check your vehicles after you pick them up. You might find out what an employee had for lunch.

I have mixed feelings about this Dealership, but in general the experience was very poor. Carlos in finance and Irwin in sales both lied and provided poor customer Service. Carlos assured me my credit inquiry would only get hit once but was actually hit 3 times on my initial visit and I am still fighting with the credit bureau to have removed. Then when I returned to sign my paperwork he mentioned he had to run it again and it would be a soft inquiry because I was already pre approved. NOPE, another hard inquiry. 4 hard inquiries total to purchase the exacts same single vehicle.

My salesmen Irwin was a complete joke. Other than forgetting who I was later that week and calling me to try to sell me a vehicle (after I already bought one), he was joking and cussing on the phone to other employees while I was having a follow-up conversation with him, he proceeded to call me back again like I was a new prospect and didn't just buy a vehicle from him 3 days prior.

I did have to wait for a new truck to arrive which was at no fault of the dealership, so this review has nothing to do with the time it took to receive a new vehicle. I am only giving this dealership 2 stars instead of one because all of the managers I dealt with were extremely pleasant and were very willing to keep me up to date while waiting on the vehicle. I would deal directly with head management again but defiantly no employees.

Service department is a joke. They ordered the wrong parts two times and they still gave me my truck with missing parts. I spoke to jeff the manager and he has to schedule me in for two small parts the couldn't fit in my door. I lost two days of work because of their poor communication, they would never call to let me know the status of my truck, service department closes at 5, i would call 5 mins before they closed just so they can tell me they had the wrong parts and they had to keep my truck.

They also changed my driver seat frame and they scratched some of the plastic off from the door. All in all it was the worst experience ive ever had in any service department ive been too. Makes me wanna go get a Dodge instead of a Sierra.

We bought a wonderful Buick from Gold Star several years ago and had prompt and efficient service. Everyone was really attentive and couldn't have been more considerate. So with great enthusiasm, I would say that it is worth your while to go by and check out what they have to offer. They occupy a very prominent Salinas location and are easy to find. Their employees are very eager to please.

Scheduled an oil change and tire rotation, the vehicle was parked outside and driven into the shop 45 min. After the scheduled appointment. Why would I schedule an appointment at an specific time if at the end they decide when to start working on the vehicle? No matter how off from the scheduled appointment. My time is as valuable as theirs, definitely they need more finesse and respect for their customers' time and business.

Not recommended at all. On a side note, a mask is required for everyone as per signs every where inside this building, something their own employees are not respecting. The bar is that low here.

Locals Only- despite being prepared to pay a deposit and sign paperwork today we were unable to purchase a truck because their inventory was being held for locals only. Our salesman, Chris, was wonderfully helpful and responsive but unable to sell us the truck due to his poor management team. We were sorry to not be able to do business with Chris and had to buy a truck elsewhere that day.

Caesar and his highly reputable establishment is the example of how top notch customer service must be executed. Casaer got my Escalade in ASAP and got it done right! Never seen so many ridiculously overpriced pre owned vehicles! If you want to get sucked in with all their hype then this is the place to go. Sales people only want to deal with you if you want to pay the inflated amount they are asking. Being at a dealership 4 hours with no reasonable deal being made is a draining experience. As they say, they are" right on the corner, and right on the price ", their price! Car shopping at its worst with this dealership!

Chris Munos was handed my file as I drove down from Livermore to look at and possibly buy the car. His hustle and knowledge of his business was impressive and comfortable. Although I couldn't arrange financing while at the dealership, Chris had Mgr call me on the way home and we made the deal happen. Per Covid deal guidelines, they're delivering my new Explorer to me door to door tomorrow. Sempre Fi fellas

Went to Gold Star to buy a Toyota pickup that they had that was 2 years old, then I went to Gilroy to look and they had a brand new one same model for $8,000 cheaper than gold star wanted for the one that was two years old. Rip offs

Called and got an estimate of $350 for some work. Easy job, turn blinker lamp burnt out. Called Dick Adams, same exact job, $65 and done in less than an hour! Called on a Tuesday, got an appointment Wednesday morning at 8:15! That's how you take care of a customer! I will definitely be back, but not to the dealership!

Buying a car here was quick and easy. Patrick was very courteous and sincere in helping me choose a car. The wait for the paperwork was very short All staff made me feel comfortable and welcomed One area in need of improvement is the detail department. The cars I test drove were not clean inside nor out. The car I purchased was given a quick wash and a very spotty dry job.

The inside of the car was in need of vacuuming. The windows and chrome were left with water spots. Door jams, trunk and hood jams were not dried. I brought it up before getting into my new car but was told the kids that clean the cars usually don't do a good job and was handed an old red towel to dry up the car myself! Lol. Please teach your detail department how to clean and prepare a car before the new owner receives the keys. PS. Drove off with an only 1/4 tank of gas I know it's not a law to fill up the tank for the car buyer but it would make for a better send off!

Wow.is all I can say to describe the lies that I was told. Do not use your money to support liers! I live out of the city, was dealing with Luis Gonzalez and managers name was Jose. We agreed on price, day and time. They ran a soft credit check to hold the car. I rented a car, booked a hotel, got the cashiers check. At 11pm I get a text with *a bit of bad news* they sold the car. Unbelievable behavior. Expected I guess from salesman but still unacceptable. They do not care about your time or money. I offered to put money down, just a game to them.
