I drive across town to have all of my Acura service done at Acura of Tempe. My Service Advisor David is always great to work with. They have a beautiful waiting area with complimentary coffee, soda, and snacks and they offer loaner vehicles for longer services or repairs. Would highly recommend for all of your Acura maintenance and repairs!

Outstanding people Edwin Andujar took care of me a man of is word the very first time going to a dealership and dealt with people like this if they we're all like this they Would have a great reputation, unfortunately not the case. The first dealership that I'll Recommend to everyone I know, Then you go see Joe the finance guy if you need financing your in out of there, normally I've sat there for two hours at other dealers, I don't know what they're doing but this guy explained things with common sense not we're you need a lawyer to look at the paperwork. Outstanding job by both people! A+ class act people!

Stopped in to get a key for my 2011 RDX the parts guy was less than helpful because I had purchased the replacement key on Amazon he said that the key would break his machine and I had to purchase a key from Acura, I also purchased a 2020 RDX here with the experience with parts there is no danger of me doing business with this dealership again

I want to acknowledge David Schmall at Acura of Tempe. He was absolutely phenomenal to work with and I would highly recommend him and Charlie. My step daughter bought a car and we were in a bit of a sticky situation and David guided us through the process and helped my step daughter in a way I have never experienced from a Manager at a car dealership. He definitely changed my view on all Car Salesman being shiesty. When it is time for me to buy my next car, I will definitely be going back to buy a car from Acura of Tempe.

I went there to shop for a car. For some reason? The windows were down on the sedan on the show room floor but the door was locked. I opened the door and the alarm went off. Really stupid way to show a car. So I went out to the lot to look at the cars. The meat head, gym rat, looking sales manager got on the intercom and scolded me for looking at the car. ON THE INTERCOM! I went to Scottsdale, and bought a band new $60 MDX. I hope who ever reads this finds a new sales staff. Can't believe a car lot would be selling any cars like this.

I brought my MDX Into the dealership to get my back a/c vent working again. They repaired the back a/c vent but, once I picked my MDX and drove it back home for night, I didn't notice anything until I turned on my radio or attempted to turn on my radio. It was completely dead would not turn so I called the dealer and his we on lines of. What do you want me to do about, I just said.fix it, it did not come in with a bad radio and now it doesn't work at all.
Also my GPS doesn't work at all after the following repair on my back a/'c' so, I have a/ but Somewhere while they were trying to fix the back a/c saw my vehicle

I have been going to this dealer for 16 years and until now, I have never felt taken advantage of. I have purchased one new vehicle and two used vehicles from this location. I took in my 2017 RDX on 01/24 to sell it back to them based on numerous emails where they said they wanted to buy it back for "top dollar". They offered me about $2,000 less than I really wanted to give it up for.
They insisted that this was the best they could do since they had to put so much money into preparing it for resale and that the used car market had changed in the last week or two. I did sell it back to them and overnight it became available for purchase on their website for almost $7.5K more than they gave me for it. Tell me where all the time and money was spent getting it ready to sell?
When I left it with them it was in show room condition with all services complete and up to date. They paid the vehicle off on 01/27 and the bank sent them a lien release on 01/31. They had no sense of urgency in getting me a check for the $19K balance they owed me. I finally received a check on 02/07 after several calls to inquire/request it. They also failed to cancel the extended warranty and I am still waiting on a refund as of 03/01.
If you get an offer from them to purchase your vehicle for "top dollar" head for the hills. Or, at the very least, look around for other options first. When I buy my next Acura it will be outright for cash and will be a brand new model. it just won't be from this dealership.

We bought a gently used car this week from Acura of Tempe. Mike Thomas, manager of internet sales, helped us through the process. His service was excellent. We realized it might be difficult to find and buy a used vehicle during these strange times of Covid and supply chain issues. Mike made the entire process easy. We found our car online, Mike had it ready and waiting for us when we arrived for our appointment.
We were finished with the process in under two hours, a miracle at a car dealership. Mike not only delivered our car to us, but it arrived with a full tank of gas. Thank you!

Very easy to drop off car for 90k service. Gave me a loaner car. Explained everything needing to be done to our car in great detail and answered all our questions. After looking at the car the service advisor called to let us know what they found, what needed to be done and how much it was going to cost. Even though repairs may cost more at the dealer you know that they are using factory parts, factory recommended fluids and the labor is under warranty.

After getting final figures, I went in to complete the transaction with a cashiers check. None of the figures (which i wrote down each charge and what it was) were honored, and further was told that I supplied th mis-information, hence further calling me a liar and presuming I was as unethical a the treatment I was receiving. this transaction was extremely untruthful unethical.
It just didn't sit well with me, so much, that I open of business-- the next full business day, I called to discuss and requested to return the car for a full refund. When i wen to pick up my trade in-- there was damage to it, which I stated was there before-- they insisted it was there and that they had pictures. When I asked to see the pictures-- i was told that they didn't have them, but they had video I asked to see the video, and was then told that the only way thy would show the video to me was if I sued them.
I was peacefully and calmly waiting inside the dealership, I was told I could wait outside. I stayed inside in the A/C and calmly waited for my check. I asked if they could just have some one manually put the sliding door back on, as I had children and it was unsafe to drive with a door that wouldn't shut, I was refused, as they didn't want to touch the vehicle.
I expressed that I ad 2 small kids in car seat and never would have driven with a door that didn't close, and the Sales manager continued to abrade me on how the car was that way when he got it and continued to tell me that if he were me, he would have walked away from the deal to purchase their vehicle. The fact that when I called to report the incident to Eddie that morning-- that he already knew about it and was quick to offer e to be able to bring the vehicle back, tells me that they were doing some very unethical, shady dealings. BUYER BEWARE!

I was bummed because I bought an Acura and was told that remote start was included on all their vehicles. They said it was through an app on the phone and that was it. I buy the vehicle, get home and mess with the app and find out you only get one year free trial membership. So you only get remote start for one year. Totally bogus. I contacted my salesman about it and he offered to pay for the extra 2 years of the app membership so I can have remote start for my entire 3-year lease. I didn't like feeling like Acura was nickel and diming their customers, but I appreciated Robert Ross hearing my concern and taking care of it for me.

The buying and finance experience was flawless. Stephanie was exceptional demonstating all the features of the RDX. When the vehicle finally arrived, she again went over all the features and answered all our questions. We purchased a cargo cover and Stephanie personally ensured it was installed correctly. Our only criticism was our initial visit to the dealership.
We were in the showroom looking at all the vehicles and NO ONE approached us for about 20 minutes. At other dealerships, a sales person typically welcomes us as we approached the showroom. We were about to leave when my wife spoke to Stephanie who just returned to her desk. Once that connection was made, the experience was flawless.

My husband and I experienced excellent service at this location, both for sales and for service. They have a very nice customer waiting area, with snacks, coffee and cold beverages. There is even a children's play area in an enclosed room. If there is one area for improvement, it is the phone service for the service area. It's great when someone is available to take your call, but in the case where you have to leave a message, it takes quite a while for someone to call you back.
In our most recent service experience, We left a message on Saturday morning and didn't get a callback until Monday. And that was after calling three times and being told that someone would get right back to us. But overall we are still very happy with this dealership.

I will always get my car repaired at Acura. Just not Acura of Tempe. $950 to replace a starter. While installing the starter they broke the battery cable and then wanted me to pay $250 to repair the cable on top of the $950. I was never told the cable was broken until my son went to pick up the car. The worst part was that they let my son drive home with a broken cable. I wont be back.

Doug my CSR was really great to work with, he was friendly and efficient. My car was serviced and was back to me in a day. I have stayed out of the dealership service departments for over 15 years, Acura of Tempe and Doug have brought me back.

If I could rate this dealership zero stars that would be my choice. If you're in the market for used I would go elsewhere, misleading, unethical, irresponsible business practices is what you'll find. The salesman Charles assured me this vehicle passed a multi-point safety inspection, meanwhile upon further inspection from a responsible Honda shop. found the rear brake pads were completely down to the minimum thickness which is a safety hazard, the vehicle was 60,000 miles overdue on a critical service interval of the timing belt and water pump which if fails would be a catastrophic end to your engine. Acura of Tempe had all of the prior service records to the vehicle and failed to make the vehicle safe and up to par for critical maintenance.
I made several attempts to make contact with the GM Todd Moore who failed to return any of my calls of trying to rectify my concerns, unacceptable. In order to make to vehicle safe I had to pay $1,500 just to make the car roadworthy and to avoid catastrophic failure to my newly purchased Honda.

Spoke to Amber in service to ask if he battery in my 2019 ILX A-Spec was covered under warranty. She said there wasn't a vehicle registered to my phone number and didn't bother asking for Vin, name, or any other info. Amber in Service turned me away and said I had to contact the Acura dealer where I purchased my vehicle which is 600 miles away.
I contacted Acura of Scottsdale and they asked for VIN and confirmed my battery is still under warranty and booked an appointment for me same day. Please hire a more helpful service rep that does not turn away business.

I bought an RDX here a couple of years ago. LOVE my Acura but wouldn't recommend this dealer. Our sales advisor was nice, but finance was unresponsive and service has unfortunately gone downhill. They used to have an incredible service advisor (Qua, I believe his name was) who I had THE BEST service experience with last year. So this year I made the trek down to Tempe because I'd had such a positive experience there before. It was not the same - expensive, took a long time and I'm not even sure they did all they were supposed to. I'll try my luck with Acura of Peoria next time.

Right now I promise whoever bought the Odyssey we looked at is very sad they did. I took the vehicle to a mechanic, told the dealership what was wrong with it, and they wanted to CHARGE ME to pay for it? Sorry, not happening! Save yourself time and aggravation and buy elsewhere!

My Dealer, Anthony, was extremely helpful and patient with me. I test drove a handful of models trying to see which one fit - found the one and he provided a sweet offer I couldn't turn down. For my first. experience buying a car, they took the fear out if the equation and made it a fast and seamless visit. I was there in total about 3/4 hours and that includes the 5 test drives I did.

Sadly this dealership had gone downhill in many ways. Leased multiple times and this time working with Rob D. was like working with a tacky used car salesman. Lies to you to get you into a conversation but refuses to give you the whole story. Not transparent and hard to work with. Their service manager Brandon is gone after so many years of working there.
He offered truly good service. Can't seem to get that anymore. I know nothing about the management but usually that's the cause of a business going from good to bad.

I had my vehicle serviced today at Acura of Tempe, as I have many time since moving to Arizona 5 years ago. While it was being serviced, the service writer came and suggest other services, including a transmission oil change. Told him you just did not too long ago. I questioned him more at check out and it was determined that it was done less than a year ago and 8,000 miles ago.
He explained that it was only a "partial" transmission service. This involves draining a few quarts out and adding a few quarts of new transmission fluid. This was NEVER told to me. I was lead to believe it was a full service, which would be to change ALL the fluid. This type of service would be like draining a few quarts of engine oil and adding new engine oil and calling that an oil change.
My invoice does not state "partial". It reads drain and fill transmission fluid with genuine Honda fluid. Not "partial" drain and fill. This is very deceptive business practice and this type of unethical practice give credence to the consumer's negative opinion of dealers and their service departments.

I've been bringing my vehicle here for over 10 years and even when I purchased a new vehicle from an out-of-state dealership still consider them to be my primary place for service. Service Agents I've dealt with are pretty receptive and knowledgeable of the Acura car so even if you have a question and want to come in you could ask any of the staff members.
The waiting area is also comforting as there are TVs, bottled water, soft drinks, cookies, and other snacks along with Wi-Fi, and the child entertainment center/playroom while you're waiting for your vehicle. It's easy to make your self comfortable and ideal if you need to do some work as they have small office space's located opposite the lounge.
It is a dealership with a certified service center so don't expect the price points to be the cheapest but do expect the quality of service to be good and when in doubt bring it up to the attention of the service management team who always have a positive attitude and work to make sure that your experience with them is the good one. Fast forward a few years when its time to trade in the vehicle turns out when this vehicle was being serviced before I purchased it they entered the wrong mileage on the vehicle's carfax report so due to that there is an error on my carfax report and now the cars trade-in value is close to nothing. When trying to contact someone who can fix it nobody seems to know how to correct the issue Sales manager, Finance manager, service department they all keep giving me the run around that its an easy fix but nobody seems to know how to correct it. This company sure does like to take your money but when you need help in return everybody seems to be busy or not available.

I went to this location recently to purchase an SUV. Although our purchase didn't work out due to the type of car we required. Michael Thomas was SO helpful and very sweet. Their finance Manager Bouvier was also fast and just all around great to work with. I would recommend them both if you are in search of an Acura.

These clowns are DESPERATE! I inquired ONCE about a vehicle. it started a long string of calls. and messages, from a clown named Dennis. I asked them to stop several times, advised them that I had decided to purchase a vehicle elsewhere. then got several rude follow-ups from a nasty b*tch named Stephanie. Do NOT deal with this place. they will hound you until you threaten to report them for harassment! Must have very poor management!

Bought a 2019 Honda Civic sport here, didn't realize for a bit that the car was supposed to come with a cup holder insert in middle counsel. Went back within 30 days and was told they can't help me. Honda wants $50+ for a cup holder, Acura won't help out even in the slightest. Drop 20k + warranty on a car with no cup holder, lol. Shame on me for. not noticing sooner but I find it hilarious that a multi million dollar dealership can't keep a customer over a cup holder they probably get at a $15 cost.
Won't buy a car here or refer anyone here, that's for sure. Shortsightedness on their part for not understanding that the most basic customer service or courtesy could have made them a ton more money long term rather than offering any kind of basic concession.

Giving a rating of 5/5 or 10/10 should be rare-that's reserved for above and beyond customer service. I want to thank Dennis Montoya for his quick, no pressure service. Once he was able to speak with me over the phone, within 24 hrs he sold me a beautiful 2019 ILX. 3 hrs total time in and out-about an hr was just general conversation. I felt. comfortable from the time I walked in, and when I left.
Mr Montoya is an example of what a car sales person should be. As far as customer service, Mr Montoya went above and beyond, and I highly recommend him if you stop in here. 5/5-Mr Montoya's manager should be proud to have him as a sales rep!

Save yourself a lot of trouble and take your business elsewhere. I 100% regret ever buying from Tempe. You can get a quality Acura vehicle anywhere. Their customer service is horrible. They sold us a warranty and then CHANGED the terms of the warranty after and said there was nothing we could do about it. So shady. Oh, and dont expect a call back ever regarding your warranty, auto butler etc. If you're no longer buying, they don't have time to call you back. Horrible experience, and will never buy from Acura of Tempe again.
