In March 2022 I went to Prime Auto Sales and Service in Ralston/Omaha. After weeks of searching for a decent used vehicle, I was excited to find one. I took it for a test drive and it seemed to be in working condition. Within days of pulling off the lot, things changed. Clicking and popping sounds. Steering wheel shaking. Taking forever to turn over and start.
Within 6 weeks of purchasing my vehicle, I was stranded on the side of the road. Once we got it to the mechanic, it was only bad news. My engine needed to be REPLACED. Phrases like "I have never seen such a disgusting engine" and "did anyone ever change the oil" and "I can't believe someone let you buy this" and more came from their mouths. I was scammed and tricked.
Some lady too trusting went to a dealership and spoke with a "friendly face" and was beyond let down. The mechanic told me that this was from neglect over a period of time. They told me that there was no way that the people that sold me this car could not have known what was going on. I called Prime Auto hoping that they would have some common decency and was turned away and told that it was not their problem.
I purchased the vehicle from them but it was on me now. They didn't care at all. I was also informed that for the six months prior to me purchasing the vehicle, the owner's driver was using it as her personal car. Supposedly, she never had any issues (which I find very hard to believe) but she obviously continued to neglect the vehicle and not follow proper routine maintenance.
The mechanic that helped me out informed me that by slightly overfilling the oil in the vehicle it can cover up most of the problems I soon came to experience. They knew what they were doing and cheated their way through to get a sale. I have never been so disgusted in my life. I need to spread the word so that no one else will be scammed by them. DO NOT GO TO PRIME AUTO IN RALSTON. -signed, a very dissatisfied customer.

I have done my oil change at Prime twice now and I have been treated very nicely both times for my Toyota rav4. They informed me about oil change prices and honestly it is still cheaper than other places for full synthetic. The lady doing my oil change came out and showed me that my oil cap was worn out and asked if i wanted a replacement instead of taking that upon herself. I am very satisfied with the service. My car hasn't had a problem.

I have bought two cars from this company and I have been getting my oil changed there for years and it's always been the same price. Today I call to see if there is a wait and say I need an oil change, the girl at the front desk tells me to come up. I drive from council bluffs. When I get there she says, oh by the way the oil change price went up.
And I said I only have $28 on me because I didn't know it changed and I wish you would have told me on the phone so I didn't come all the way out here. She then says they can't do the oil change because I don't have enough money but they will be more than happy to check my oil and top it off me and I said yes thinking it was a courtesy for not telling me the price changed and I drove that far as a returning customer.
While I'm waiting I make an appointment to get my oil changed somewhere else on Friday that's a little cheaper and When she hand's me the keys she tells Me I Now owe $9 for 3 quarts of oil that went in my car, She never told me I was getting charged for That either. The manager comes over and knows who I am and sees I'm frustrated. She doesn't seem to really care to much.
I don't understand why they wouldn't just give me the oil change for the old price just this one time since no one told me on the phone and I drove far. Does it really even make any sense that I would pay to put oil in that will be dumped out the next day? The oil change went from 21.95 to like $38.99 and I get that oil has gone up but there was shown no customer service to me today at all. I'm getting $13,000 back from taxes and was thinking of coming back to this car dealership but now I will not be returning customer anymore.

A few months back I went there with my brother and mom and saw a vechical I loved and wanted to test drive to make sure it was the right fit but who ever was at the front desk that day was extremely rude they said no to test drive which that's understandable some places don't allow that but also said "with what money are you gonna pay with" in a snarky tone and was complaining to a co-worker in broken English and some Spanish, like seriously pretty unprofessional to make that comment and it's not like we even looked broke I had cash ready in my moms car and I dressed up in a polo that day. So I don't know if that guy had a bad experience with a teenager before but shouldn't of took it out on me.

I was getting my oil changed here for a while and loved it but my last oil change led to my car almost breaking down. causing trouble to my engine. I noticed they changed the oil a little to fast but didn't pay no mind to it and it led to paying a higher bill later. gotta watch where you get your service from or at least from who.

I bought a used vehicle from them, currently still paying on it. My problem is that since I bought the car, it's had more mechanical issues. Not sure what happened with previous owner, nor do I care because I'm taking care of the vehicle now. But how do brakes, rotors and calipers go untouched? When I saw my rotors they were a horrible mess. Im just giving my review of what I see, can't speak for anyone else but ya I won't be back after this

Drove from Lincoln to Test Drive specific Car.when I came in Employees were confused about inventory and were openly bickering between themselves in front of customers: the younger lady with the dark hair was super awesome and kept a smile during our interactions which was a plus. After Test drive (Door seal fell off on Driver's side door immediately- wasn't attached) I was shut down when I attempted to discuss large amount of hail damage and the alignment on trunk.
Owner told me "well then this isn't the car for you". That was it. Owner walked away. I'm 43 years old and as the customer I make that decision my friend. LOL I took this as they didn't want my business and took my 5,000 cash with me. Do your research people. We Won't be back.

Went in for an oil change and for my tires to be filled with air and left with a broken car key and a dented door, which is my only car key they neglected to tell me it was broken and sent me on my way while trying to blame it on me not even 10 minutes later, said I broke my own key. Proceeded to laugh at me when I asked for a higher up number or a boss number and hung up.
I've been going to prime for 2 years and the last 2 years have been perfect but now it's ruin and I won't be going back. Highly disappointed and would like to speak to a manager or owner still. But doubt it.

I was in town for work and needed an oil change. Jiffy Lube refused to service my car due to a cracked bumper. As I was driving away, I saw that Prime Auto Sales And Service had 19.99 oil changes and swung in to see if I needed an appointment. They were able to get me in right away. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The service was super fast. I will definitely be back! I strongly recommend them!

Came in to buy a car today, explained how much I could put down ($1500). I also explained I had never purchased a car and wasnt sure how it worked. Guy told me it wasnt enough money for the car i had my eye one, which is fine, but then he sent me on my way. I asked if there were other cars there that might fall into my budget for this payment and he told me i could just go look around the lot.
It was a bummer. So i drove around and ended up at Carmax. I ended up owning a 2016 chevrolet mailbu in perfect condition 20 minutes later. Seriously, if you have less than stellar credit you dont have to go to places like this. Go to car \max. ps i dont work for carmax and im being totally honest. All i really needed was someone to sit down, do a credit check for me, and tell me what i could buy. done.
To their credit they had just opened, but I was excited and drove out of my way to come to this dealership. So it was pretty off putting to walk in and just basically turn around and walk out, feeling like I wasnt worth their time.

Awesome customer service. A lot of places try and take advantage of your lack of knowledge in car keep up and repair they are fair. I got my brakes quoted at 3 different shops and Prime was honest about their quote and beat the other places by a log shot. Oil changes are quick and cheap, I will always choose these guys.

Horrible, horrible business. screwed me over big time and now i have to pay 2300 for a new transmission. the whole time i was there they didn't want me to get the car checked out by a mechanic(said she didn't trust them). it's very clear they knew the transmission was bad. the whole time she was almost nervous. she kept saying they were all about the engine, that's obviously a lie just to makie it seem like they didnt know. they lied to my face. they are just another example of your typical dirty used car salesman. horrible people. they even gave me a "lucky charm" for my key ring, probable because they knew i'd need the luck. do not buy from there, do not buy from there! when we had negotiated with them and came up with a set price, my friend whom she did not know asked "how much for this car?" she told him a price 100 dollars more than what we had settled. dirty dirty people! so mad! what a horrible unethical business! and they were very rude! dont go there, and im sure the reply to this will also be unethical and misleading and a lie! bad people! bad business!
