We had the worst experience ever for such an upscale dealership. Their corporate office was no help. We've left several messages and no one has gotten back to us. Beware this place is a rip off and you will get scammed. We purchased 3 cars, one for me and two for our boys who went off to college. We had an issue with all 3 cars. One of the used cars from their echo park dealership completely died. Needs a new engine.

We've reached out repeatedly. Keep being told to call Vicky Comer which obviously is a joke. Went as far as asking for Mr. Bruton Smith the owner and still nothing. We finally decided to turn this into a legal matter. All 3 cars from Sonic are parked and will not be driven. Several people told us to go to Hendrix so we tried them out and purchased 3 brand new cars from them.

We've experienced the absolute best car buying experience. Told them all about our Sonic experience and they were not shocked at all. I definitely highly recommend staying away from this place. We've also shared this experience and review on social media since we have very large followings so the message is spreading quick. Buyers beware. Stay away from here!

I had the best experience purchasing my 2019 f250. The hardest part was relaxing and trusting. In 2021, I can look back and confirm I got a great deal, with no hassle or stupid games.

Had the most wonderful experience with Sonic Automotive. We purchased a new car a couple months after my son was born, and the Sonic team was so efficient and kind and ensured I didn't have to wait at the dealership with my newborn son more than necessary. Highly recommend!

Incredibly easy process once again. I've bought more than fifteen vehicles from Sonic dealerships and referred countless more friends. I went for my last purchase to the new Echo Park store and once again, the experience was phenomenal. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and the Manager came over to introduce himself as well. The entire transaction was easy to do. Thanks so much for another awesome experience!

I was dreading the car buying/leasing process, but Sonic Automotive made the experience extremely enjoyable- nothing to dread at all! Everyone I dealt with from the Sonic Automotive team was extremely professional and customer service oriented. I am beyond pleased with my new SUV from Mercedes Benz of Nashville. NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE. Was at this dealership for 6 HOURS. Refused to fill our car up and left us with less than a quarter tank. Would not detail the car and did a terrible job washing it. They do not negotiate prices. Had to find a different bank to finance our car because of their lack of being thorough. They kept trying to force the warranty and gap insurance on us after we said no multiple times.

The lady tried to tell us what we would be paying without even running our credit. They are a bunch of con artists. I have no positive things to say about this place. We were taken advantage of because we are young and loved the car. I love the car, but I cannot wait until we build some credit so we don't have to go to scammy places like this. Save yourselves money and a headache.

Wanted to share a great buying experience from Sonic Automotive/ David Waterman / North Central Ford in Texas. I purchased a used Ford Explorer a few months back in March. Truck was delivered as is and I love it. It is a 2016 model with higher mileage, 76,000+. After 2 weeks the touchscreen stopped responding. After some troubleshooting it turns out it needed to be replaced. $1000 to repair.no warranty.

I reached out to David Waterman at Sonic and he went the extra mile for me. He worked with the dealer and helped to negotiate a 50% credit to the repair. It was unexpected and above and beyond my expectations. I've purchased a few vehicles from Sonic in the past and I'll do so in the future. If you're in the market for a new or used vehicle and want an honest and transparent experience.then look no further than Sonic and David Waterman!

I bought a brand new vehicle through Sonic Automotive VIP program with a very good discount. Danielle helped me to find the car dealers and offered a good deal on my new generation vehicle. I'm very happy with this buying experience. Definitely I will buy vehicles from Sonic in the future, and I highly recommend Sonic Automotive and Danielle!

The Sonic Automotive vip & concierge service for car buying was hands down the best automotive buying experience i have ever had. Literally in less than an hour from my initial phone call, they found the car i wanted in another state and completed the purchase. The value and service was outstanding and the convenience was incredible. Could not be happier.

Bought a warranty for a car that we bought from Sonic. Two years into the car and we decided that we wanted something different, so we traded it in. We were told that we would be refunded two of the four year warranty that we bought. We paid $2,171 for the four years. The check came it it was $307. WHERE IS THE REST OF OUR MONEY! There are too many dealerships here to deal with this kind of disappointment. I want to be reimbursed for half the amount of what I paid. Who else thinks that Sonic should be fair? SPREAD THE WORD!
