This was our second time getting a car here and we loved it, both time. We have worked with Mae for both cars and she has been amazing. Getting our this time around was even better then the 1st. It was quick and easy and she even helped keep my toddler entertained throughout the whole process. Mae was and still is amazing to work with. Just financed my first car here at Yonkers Honda, a beautiful Honda CR - V Touring. What I loved the most was the great service provided, and how everything was well explained without missing any particular detail taking into consideration it was my first time buying a new car. All thanks to Gary Wagner, who was very helpful, and super nice and patient! We walked into the show room and it was a completely relaxed environment. We met with Gary Wagner, the king of cool, who helped us out with the car. He explained everything to us from beginning to end. He made it a hassle free, pleasurable, no pressure experience. The finance man, Jordan worked the numbers for us and made the process easy as well.

4 cars I have bought from this place. I loved my salesmen over the years, loved the cars, loved the location. What I do not like in any way, shape, or form is management. We decided to buy out the lease on my wife's car and we're advised the monthly payments would be increased because owning a vehicle obviously would cost more than leasing a vehicle.
I was told by the General Manager Ike that after 1 year we would sit back down and he said as sure he could lower the payments a bit. We accepted his proposal and signed the papers. One year passed and my wife called him and left a message-no response. A week later, same thing. 2 weeks later, same thing. We called other departments and they said they would relay the message to Ike to call us.
Then I began to call. 19 voicemails and not even a single attempt to get in contact with either of us. We stopped by the dealership and we're advised he was busy. If he couldn't lower the payments that was completely ok, but to avoid us like the plague after a fleet of purchased vehicles and loyal service is unacceptable. I wouldn't go back to this Honda dealership if it was the last one on earth.

My partner and I were looking into buying a car. A friend recommended we go here and ask for Mae. He had previously purchased a car from her. Mae made the process easy and was very helpful. She answered all of our questions and worked with us to satisfy our requests. She was great. The manager was professional and also willing to meet our needs. The gentleman upstairs was charismatic. Where do I begin? To start, this is the happiest I have been since I started leasing 20 years ago! I began this quest 6 months before my lease was due. I hit a lot of dead ends that I had never experienced before - pandemic, chip shortage, limited inventory and the flood in Aug 2021. It came to the point where I had no other choice than to buy out my lease.
This was the last thing I wanted to do. After 6 months of searching for a new car I contacted Mae at Yonkers Honda. I wanted to give it one last attempt. Wow, I couldn't believe how easy she made the process. We didn't haggle. She understood my needs. I signed on the dotted line the same day. Yonkers Honda gives the term "sign and drive" a whole new meaning. The only thing on my agenda is ROAD TRIP!

I bought my first new Honda there and was very satisfied. Just went there the other day. Told the salesman I wanted an appraisal done of my vehicle so we could talk numbers. Salesman told me he was going to take the car to be appraised. Also told me he would require a $500 deposit. I told him when I received a quote I wanted to discuss it with someone else, could I call in the payment?
His attitude did a 180. He told me the appraiser wasn't available after all, and to call me when I was serious. He told me I could not have the car appraised or have my credit checked without a $500 deposit. I walked away. I'm not buying a new tablet or cell phone. I'm buying a new car. I have the right to hear numbers and consider them. I have never heard of anything in my life like a $500 deposit for a credit check.

***a little late on this review, purchase took place on 09/30/2020. I have purchased a car a few times and know it is NOT a 30-minute process, so people's waiting complaints are irrelevant. I arrived at the dealership slightly past 4 pm and drove away with the car around 8 pm. I wanted an inexpensive vehicle since this Covid debacle forced me off public transit.
Before arriving at YH, I went to Fordham Toyota and immediately felt the high pressure and used salesman tactics. After the guy attempted to sell me multiple cars outside of what I wanted to spend, I left. When I arrived at YH, I told the salesman I wanted the used 2017 Honda Accord I had inquired about with the internet salesperson. Of course, he tried to get me the 2018 or later model (they are sales people), but the approach was more informative and less "I'm going to double talk you until you purchase more care than you initially requested" tactic. I'm not driving around NYC with a 20K+ car loan to get dinged and banged up.
After listening to his presentation of the newer cars (I was straight up with him about not purchasing a more expensive car.), I asked for the car I wanted. The salesman requested the vehicle over from the other location. I test drove it, then started the paperwork. I'm two years on the other side of bankruptcy, so I came with my Capital One pre-qualifier.
The finance manager attempted to sell me on Honda Financial (again, salesman). I agreed as long as they did not shotgun my application; however, Capital One had the better rate (who would have thought). My sales guy sold me on Honda Care (he is a salesperson) because you never know

I landed at Yonkers Honda after 3 days, and 10 dealerships of searching for a new car to replace my car that was totaled in the recent floods. Upon arriving at the dealership I was greeted by Mae S. who immediately began assisting us in looking for a new car. Thankfully Yonkers Honda had more inventory in stock than the other dealerships that I previously visited had.
As such, I was able to actually choose which car I wanted rather than feeling forced to accept just any available vehicle. Mae S. was so patient with us as we looked at each vehicle and asked questions about the differences between each of the available vehicles. She offered her opinion when we were trying to decide on which vehicle to get but she was not pushy and allowed us time to make an informed decision.
Other dealerships that I went to attempted to sell us a car by dwelling on the crazy car market and kind of forcing us to accept what they were offering. Mae S., on the other hand, compassionately understood our situation of suddenly losing a car while simultaneously trying to help us find a new car despite the current market. Mae S. made this entire process so much more easier and pleasant to navigate. Completing all of the paperwork was a seamless process.
I wasn't initially looking for a Honda but Mae's heart of gold, patience and professionalism has gained me as a loyal customer. Please do not hesitate to visit this dealership and ask for Mae!

Purchased a 2021 Accord from Yonkers Honda. Michael Del Valle the sales consultant that assisted us was knowledgeable, made us feel comfortable throughout the sales process and helped us in getting the best deal available. When we picked up the car last week Michael took his time to run us through all the features of the car which made us comfortable pulling out with the car the very first time. BAD BAD BAD BUSINESS! My brother went to purchase a vehicle for the first time! He's been excited to get this suv (Chevy Blazer), I mean he's been on a hunt for it at many locations in the area, but they werent available. He finally went to Curry Honda on central Ave. to inquire about it, thinking he could trust them bc its HONDA a big corporation car dealership not one of those mom & pops dealership.
I guess he went wrong by telling them he's NEVER purchased a new car before, he doesnt know much about whats needed what to do, but he trust Honda bc I got a good deal on my crosstour back in 2010. Mike explained he'll help him ( he didn't explain help jerk him). My brother has an 800 credit score, so Mike has the vehicle run his credit comes back 780, (800) He enthused to be getting the car, he told Mike he wants to have payments of $350 the most a month, and would like like to pay a year upfront for a lease vehicle.
My brother put all his trust in Mike, believes everything he's telling(selling) him. Mike tells him to get a cashier check for $17,000 down in order to make the payment $350a month, on a lease vehicle That is unethical, what Mikedis and took advantage if a hobest consumer knowibg that he wasnt knowledgeable about purchasibg a vehicle.

After my last post, got nasty message on voice mail, breathing stupid left a message thought it was one of one of my friends, the Idiot text me of coarse used a land land line Brooklyn and starts to harress on text to remove to my post, It said owner Bob wants me and is going to take my car and I 'm going to get sued and i'm a chicken. I'm currently pregnant so my husband and I went to trade in our HR-V for a pilot. We knew we wanted a 2018-2019 model since we have had good luck with certified pre-owned vehicles. We were greeted nicely by a man named Gary. We told him we wanted a 2018-2019 Pilot and he refused to let us go with anything from those years. He insisted on showing us the newest model, which we clearly didn't care about because it wasn't in our budget.
We repeated that we wanted a pre-owned, but he kept pushing the latest model on us saying we would pay the same monthly for a pre-owned vehicle versus a new one. Gary then walked away and quickly came back saying we would have to pay $700 monthly. We thanked him for his time and left. We then drove to Paragon Honda, where an amazing salesman named Ben listened to our needs, showed us vehicles within our budget and found us a great deal. We came home with a 2018 Pilot a few hours ago!

Diana at the Certified pre-owned section was transparent, easy going and very helpful. Working with her was stress-free and a breeze (5 stars). Also, the finance manager didn't go overboard in selling extra packages (such as longer warranties) and I didn't see extra fees that try to get tacked on to the contract like other dealers (although I did see a tiny inspection fee). The used car inventory is one of the best in the lower Westchester/NYC area. I was able to find what I was looking for pretty quickly. It was a good overall experience.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE LEASING FROM THIS PLACE. My wife and I went there looking to lease a 2021 SUV. We asked the sales rep to provide us with the absolute final cost of lease upfront because we were shopping around to see who will give us the best price for a Honda HRV. According to the Sales Rep she provided final price and she assured us there's no other hidden fees.
We decided to go with Yonkers Honda and over the phone we paid a deposit and got insurance for the new lease. When we get there they ran a credit check and the lease ended up being $40/month more expensive than what they told us it was going to be. My wife doesn't have bad credit. To get the perfect price you have to have Excellent credit. This is sales tactic they do last minute and don't tell you upfront.
They put the plates on the car, you already went through hassle of getting insurance and showing up all excited so they kind of have the upper hand. We were super disappointed that they didn't tell us this in the beginning that the monthly lease price quoted is subject to change based on your credit score. Please make sure to not fall for this trap.

I am appalled at the customer service from this dealer. We JUST moved to Yonkers and looked up our nearest Honda because we didn't want to drive to Queens. NOT only was there NO attention! BUT after 30 mins of going back and forth attempting to negotiate the terms.the Owner / Manager "Michael" came to us and asked if he could help. I expressed we were looking for a particular deal. NOT ONLY did he scream and yelled at the sales person - as if he was a child, but then stated that he will give us the deal Bc I was "getting loud"! WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THIS?! The blatant disrespect and lack of service is mind blowing! I walked out with the $30k deal and took it elsewhere

Recently traded in my 2019 CRV for a 2021 SE PILOT. The process couldn't have been any easier. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by Mae. I explained to her what I was looking to do. She immediately got to the facts of what was possible or wasn't possible within my circumstances. I had been duped before at Bronx Honda with my previous deal and to have someone so honest/transparent was a sigh of relief.
Overall service I received at Yonkers Honda was great. I'd recommend this Honda dealer over Bronx Honda/other Honda dealers in the Tri-state area. BTW; Extremely satisfied with our purchase!

I tried to change the battery of the fob in my mother's Honda but this caused the whole unit to break down into about 10 pieces. There was no way I could reassemble it. Even though the car is a Honda rental from Ohio, Oscar from the Parts Department reassembled it for me when I brought it in--for free! This was just terrific service.

I took the train + a Lyft to this dealership after seeing some used inventory I liked online. I worked with Noel Martinez and shared what I was looking for. We saw several vehicles (the ones I had bookmarked were sold) and got to test drive. There was no pressure from anyone though offers were made for financing and extended warranty. I am very pleased with my Accord. Noel was also helpful in getting me set up with great insurance! I'm happy to be in a car again after 9 years of being carless in the city.
We moved to Suffolk County and I know my vehicle will continue to do well. My car though preowned, came with a car fax and Honda certification. It also had the manufacturer's warranty and was completely up to date on all services. I was able to get them to come down a smidge on the pricing, which helped me stay in budget once we got to taxes and fees. Thank you Yonkers Honda! My entire process was done in about 4 hours, maybe a little less, most of which was exploring inventory.

Since Yelp isn't exactly the most resourceful place research car dealerships as the percentage of reviews by actual customers is debatable, I must share my actual experience. My Mother walked away from a pretty bad accident about a month prior to looking for a new car. Still a bit shaken up, she asked me to come with her. Since I've had a great experience with my Civic, I recommended to buy a Honda.
She wanted something bigger than than a sedan but smaller than the average SUV with all wheel drive, so she decided on an HR-V. No name dropping, our salesperson made the experience a breeze and did everything possible to make us feel at ease. I'm definitely planning on coming here when the time to purchase a new car comes.

After signing a lease contract with Jun this morning, I was called two hours later telling me the they had made a mistake and had under charged me. The paperwork was already signed and the first month's payment was paid. The dealership told me that they would not honor my lease at the current price even though it was a mistake on their end and that they would fail to deliver the vehicle on Monday when I was supposed to pick it up.
After making another visit to the dealership, the manager, Gary, said they refused to honor the pricing they originally agreed to and I would have to pay $40 more a month. In my years of retail experience, if you make a mistake, you eat it. Gary was standoffish and didn't offer any solutions, flat out refusing to help or to honor their mistake. Jun was apologetic but a manager OK'ed the deal so he's at fault as well. I've never heard of a dealership reneging on a contract after it was signed. Failure on everyone involved in the process.
