Very friendly and helpful people here! Was tough to negotiate on the price but they have really low prices according to CarFax and KBB, so I was getting a good deal either way! Great service, nice people, and an overall great experience! My only complaint: they took 20+ minutes to wash my car, even the salesperson was confused on why it took so long.

This was kind of the worst car buying experience I've had. I wasn't treated well from the get go, and I was significantly talked down on. I was excited to get this vehicle, but the pictures ended up being pretty deceiving. I got the car anyway, which is my own fault, but it's a horrible vehicle. It sounds like it's falling apart and probably won't last through the year.
One of my biggest regrets is buying this vehicle from this dealership. Thanks Update: the engine completely failed. I have had this car for 8 months and paid $10,000 for it only to need the engine replaced. Might as well buy a brand new car instead of replacing the engine. I appreciate being misled about the integrity of the vehicle I was purchasing.

Nick (the dealer), Isaac (salesman) and Ryan (finance) were all super pleasant and helpful to work with. Nick went out of his way to be patient with some very specific needs we had. Isaac was very patient, as well, walking us through the technology of our new car. (a lot of it was new to us) Ryan did a good job explaining the various extended warranties available to us and helping us think through that choice.
We walked into Royal South, drove two cars and agreed on a purchase the same day. Nick found exactly the car we wanted (it wasn't on the lot) and we only waited a week. Buying a car can be an arduous experience; this time around there it was a piece of cake. The only downside was having to pay a premium on top of the MSRP because of the dearth of available cars. OUCH!
It was a bad time to buy a car, because of the lack of inventory and high prices, but we needed one. I would highly recommend giving Royal South Mazda Volvo your consideration,

I had a GREAT experience with Royal South Mazda. The staff was straight forward and no deceit involved like other dealerships! Isaac was courteous and attentive to my needs without being overbearing. The whole experience was a breath of fresh air (and most of the time, car buying is not that way.) Don't waste your time at other dealeships. Come to Royal South.

We just purchased a 2022 Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric. I used the Volvo website to order the vehicle. It arrived in just 2 weeks. We thought that it would take a longer amount of time. We were happily surprised. We worked with Phil Peckinpaugh at Royal South Volvo. He was easy to work with and no pressure. We are happy with our new car!

Love my car and more than pleased with the two car at one time purchase My husband and I made with Isaac. He listened to our needs and picked the perfect second car for us. This was by far the best car buying experience we have ever had. We feel we had a fair deal and extremely satisfied with the warranties. Isaac is the best!

It has taken a while to post this review to make sure I was writing with a clear head. Poor customer service, unprofessional, terrible communication & no follow-up. I looked at a vehicle towards the end of COVID-19, Monroe County shelter-in. Per website, " We will search for any and all ways to keep our workplace safe and inviting for our guests and our employees".
I was greeted by Alex R. He joked about not wearing his face mask- not funny. Additionally, the sales manager was not wearing a face mask too. Alex had little knowledge of the vehicle I was interested in. All he wanted to discuss was financing not the overall total cost- old salesman's trick. Asked that additional information be emailed due to not wanting to sit and wait during COVID-19. Alex promised that he would emailed me details that day.
One week later, Alex emailed me information about a car that I wasn't interested in. This car wasn't even from the same manufacturer. I called and made an offered on the car I had previously looked at. Alex called back and stated that the sticker price is fixed with no negotiation. Furthermore, he was not interested in working with me. He asked where I came up with my number.
It was stated from Kelley Blue Book Prices, Edmunds, Cars.com, Car Gurus and Auto Trader. He started arguing with me and hung up!' I have never been treated so poorly from a business much less a car dealership! I now understand why friends and family had warned me not to do business with Royal South Sales. Two days later, I received an email from the GM thanking me for coming and how much they "value your business". Really- could have fooled me!
I ended up finding a vehicle from a dealership out of state. That dealership was great in communication and follow-up. Luckily, I was still able to purchase a vehicle from an out of state dealer. I paid significantly less including sales tax, processing fees and shipping cost. My new car has close to the same mileage and same features but different color.
I tried buying local but refused to be disrespected and pay more money for essentially the same vehicle. Thanks for nothing Royal South. I will not be back nor recommend you to friends and family.
