Poor buying experience. Purchased a gently used pickup from Lance. Pickup seemed to be a very clean and @ a decent price. I was told the pickup just went through an inspection and had a fresh service. Purchased the pickup and before I got home (3hr trip) it was making a horrible squealing noise. Charbonneau was contacted, and after a tug and pull / multiple conversations they said they would look at the pickup.
Side note, I was told by lance that they could tell me to get Fu****, but they were looking into what they could do. A three hour return trip was made, parts where replaced. Long story short pickup was brought to a different dealership after Charbonneau mechanics guessed at what they thought to be the issue, and squealing remained after returning home again.
Local dealer did a thorough inspection and fixed the issue. Wanted to note Oil was black and and fuel filters looked like they hadn't been changed in quite some time. Purchasing a $49,000 pickup with the expectation that there are no known issues. Seems like used pickups are takin in on trade and kicked out to there lot asap to sell without an inspection or service.

Had previously got an oil change for my jeep, at a jeep dealer in Grand Forks. After, the check engine light comes on and not a week later, it is leaking oil. I had my jeep towed to charbonneau. Informed them of the issues. I pick my jeep up after being charged $954.00 for an oil coolant casing. The check engine light, still on. I hear weird noises just after starting it.
I am now at a third shop, and have been told I need a new engine, excessive metal in the oil, and all cylinders misfiring. One would think going to a dealer, you will be taken care of, not the case. Should be zero stars.

I will not be returning. I took my vehicle in to fix the AC unit and was told the part and labor would cost me $1300. I decided to leave it for a couple years as I would not be able to afford it. I brought it in again once I had money for it and was told that the part they had initially told me broke was not completely broken and it would only cost $600.
I was upset because their mistake could have potentially cost me $700 more. During this appointment I also asked for the oil to be changed and the factory recall to be handled. They forgot both of these services and I had to return the next day. The next day, I sat for nearly two hours waiting on an oil change and a computer recall in my car. The only reason they didn't forget the recall a second time was the receptionist yelling at them. The only thing they did well was reception. I would recommend people to go anywhere other than here.
