Hi, I am Mark Sanderson. I started Sanderson Auto Repair in 1985 and have owned & operated it ever since. I began my career in the automotive service and repair industry as an auto technician in 1978. Like many of our technicians, I have also earned my A.S.E Master Certification in 1982. In addition to my daily administrative responsibilities I still like to get under the hood and get my hands dirty.
Sanderson's service area is provided with the most modern equipment available and our ASE certified technicians undergo continuous training. Top training and equipment means whatever the make, model or age of your vehicle, we can find and fix the problem for less! The areas only AAA approved auto repair facility.
0/5 Save your money and go somewhere else. You could probably YouTube how to fix your problem and do a better job than they did! The work we have seen and experienced is not worth what they charge, and had to be redone within a week of getting the truck back. I appreciate taking my car to a place I trust and where I know they'll do a good job to keep my car in good condition.
Your Roadside Assistance Benefit is provided to you for free by the Sanderson Auto. Because you purchased tires or performed the service to your vehicle and is identified on your invoice. Your Roadside Assistance Benefit begins on the date identified on your original invoice from the participating facility and continues for a period of 12 months.

Will never go back to this place. Had a device installed in my vehicle. Had called with questions only to be brushed off and rushed off the phone. Very unprofessional and rude. Did a terrible install. Left the trim hanging off both door panels. Was told that's my problem when asked about it. Put my dash board back on and never clipped it back in properly.
Staff lied to me and told me they never touched the dash. They had to to install the wiring, and this is the first service I've had since buying my vehicle brand new. Overall, terrible experience and will never retain their services again

These guys were amazing. We had to have our engine completely replaced. During the maintenance they gave us one of the loaner cars for free It took over 3 weeks to get done and we were not charged once for the loaner car. The engines they kept getting from their supplier was not up to their standards so they gave us an improved newer rebuilt engine for the same price as we would have had for the original engine rebuilt style. There has been no issue since and our car even gets better gas mileage now because of it. They were amazing and I will definitely be going back to them for future repairs.

My car needed worked on so bad it was uncomfortable to drive or even to ride in. I took my car in to Sanderson's and had the repairs done. They were very polite, offered excellent service on my car, and customer service. I am VERY SATISFIED on the work done on my car. It is comfortable for my passengers and myself once again since I don't have no more issues and the car has been working like it just came off the production line. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anybody. Thank you once again Mark, and to your awesome staff.

My vehicle was towed here after it died on me while traveling from Minneapolis to Des Moines at 3am. I am a traveling health professional and needed to be at work that evening. They called me with a probable diagnosis by 10 am but advised me that the car was running and they could not get it to fail. They advised me this repair would cost over 900.00 but again couldn't be certain since the car was running.
I choose to return the vehicle to my home in WI and crossed my fingers it would continue to run. They provided me with a 3 page check list of the systems they went through to diagnose the problem and only charged me $89.00 for their time which I thought was a more than fair price. They also picked me up from the hotel at no extra charge! I very much appreciated their honesty and the speed at which they got my car in to look at it. My home garage also could not find a problem and the car continues to run 2 weeks later.

On 6/21/21, my daughter and I were returning to Seattle in my 1999 Anniversary Edition Miata, after driving Route 66 from Santa Monica to Chicago. The overheating issue that had plagued us on and off for much of trip reared its ugly head again. Despite being super busy, Aaron Bjorkland and his crew were kind enough to squeeze us in. They were very thorough in running various tests; they found the problem - an intermittently faulty thermostat. It was replaced and we had no further issues on the trip home. THANK YOU SO MUCH

A big thank you to the folks at Sanderson Auto. My Acura had several dashboard warning lights/errors come on while gassing up on our way through town. Not knowing the area I took a shot on Sanderson and glad I did. Very professional, very accommodating and very good communication. I think it says a lot about a company when they go the extra mile to help somebody who likely won't be a customer in the future. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing auto repair in Albert Lea.

This place literally defines the phrase "highway robbery." They charged over THREE TIMES the price for parts compared to other shops. The alternator part they replaced can be found online anywhere from $70 - $120, yet the charged over $300 for it. They knew they had us where they wanted us, as we were several hundred miles away and our vehicle had. been towed to their facility by AAA because they are AAA approved.
When asked about the exorbitant prices, the response was one that essentially rag out, "We've got you where we want you." They knew it'd cost us as much to have it towed to a more reputable, fair place as it would to have them do the repair. The vehicle was on their property. We were pretty much screwed by them.
