I brought my car in for a gas leak, trouble accelerating, sputtering, shaking, and rpm jumping. they ordered and installed a new fuel line. After they called to tell me everything was working great from the replacement, I payed for the repair and brought it to the gas station to fill up. I looked underneath the car while filling up because all the issues were still present driving over there.
A considerable amount of gas was spilling out. Brought it back, showed them the video I shot of it and they said they were sorry that the clamp was bad so they replaced it. fair enough right? No, it wasn't fair. All the issues besides the leaking gas were present. still though, I could smell gas by the back seat when I would get out. I'm afraid to drive it.
Then brought it back again. So I guess they just drove it around a bit and called to say they don't see any issues. They said I'll go for a drive with you. Inside the office where nobody was present and my keys along with others were open for grabs. took the keys went to my car just to turn it on there in their parking lot to see, hear and smell all problems right then and there. without question, I drove away to another mechanic, insulted that they'd try to say there weren't any issues.
I will never go back there because I feel ripped off and cheated. You go to a mechanic to diagnose such problems so that you don't break down with bigger issues later. They have failed to adequately acknowledge and diagnose the problem/problems.

I have been doing business with SEK Auto for several years and appreciate their honesty upfront about what the believe the issue is and how much it will cost. Also they are nearly always spot on when they tell me when they can look at my vehicle. Once they get my car in, they are usually able to complete the work the same day or next day if the work is more extensive. Lastly, their costs for repair I have always found to be reasonable and lower than other places I have been. Keep up the good work SEK AUTO!

Here I sit with a possible water pump problem. I asked for water to fill my containers. I was sent to the bathroom, where upon my surprise "not" the containers do not fit. I was asked if I had a leak, and I said "yes" suspicious of the water pump. I was then directed to the back of the shop and left there to make two trips to fill 4 containers. On my own surrounded by many mechanics and one counter person and here I sit trying to decide if I should drive back home to Independence. No one cares, but me. Thank you for the water. Thank you for your help. I mean that sarcastically of course.

We had a wonderful experience at S.E.K Auto Sales right here in Parsons, Ks. Mr. Gibson was our salesman, and he was not only accommodating, but very low pressure! It was an absolute Godsend as we were about to completely give up on finding a dealership we could trust, and that also had what we were looking for. We will definitely consider doing our business with them as long as we are in the area!
