I had amazing service from everyone I talked to. Tammy helped me through my whole experience and made sure to ask me what i was looking for. They have a variety of vehicles and she showed me the best deals. Within a couple hours she found me an amazing vehicle and at a great price. I highly recommend coming here for a vehicle and will most likely be coming back when I'm ready for another one.

I just recently purchased a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 at your store and had the pleasure of dealing with Ernesto in sales and Jesse the Finance Mgr. I knew exactly what I was looking for and they had it. There was absolutely NO again NO salesman pressure or hard sale what so ever and Jesse explained everything in basic simple terms. My full truck purchase experience was nothing but EXCELLENT!

Maybe you gentlemen should teach some other dealerships how to make a sale go smoothly. Many many thanks to Ernesto and Jesse! When I'm ready for my next purchase for my wife I will definitely come to see you. Well done gentlemen

For the love of God, do NOT buy a vehicle here. It was easily the worst car buying experience of my life! To keep it brief, they sold my husband a vehicle (we put 10k down) and a month later the transmission solenoid went out. While it was in the shop getting repaired, automax was USELESS in getting him a rental so that he could continue working. We argued with them and their GM, Tony for WEEKS to get reimbursement for the rental we had to pay for due to the negligence of Automax.

Many MANY arguments later they gave us $500 to go away and told us to take our review off the BBB (I also HIGHLY recommend you read their BBB complaints. This is not new behavior for them). It is honestly so so bad! All in all, save yourself the frustration that we just went through and go to a more reputable car dealership. Stay far away from these guys.

I recently just bought a great car from here and I could not say more amazing things about this place! I'm a college student so my budget is a little on the tighter side but with the help of Tammy, she stopped at nothing to get me the best deal and went above and beyond for me, even detailing the car herself so I could take it home the very day they got it in!

She is truly amazing and as sweet as can be, I highly recommend asking for her! My family and i will be going back to her for years to come when it's time for us to get new cars again! I couldn't be more a happy and truly recommend everyone to go here, and ask for Tammy to help you!

Edgar was an awesome sales manager and so was the guy that helped show us the car. I believe his name was Frank. I feel like the prices here are slightly on the higher side but overall not bad and worth not having to drive 200+ miles for a car. If you use their financing discount and trade in a vehicle that helps a lot. No pushy sales which was great. Everything went smooth. Highly recommend!

This team are miracle workers! I don't have good credit and they got me in my dream family car. Has all the amazing features you hope to get in a vehicle and then some. I expressed my needs and wants and they made it happen! They even took my trade from a buy here pay here. We had a few bumps with financing but they wouldn't quit till they got me approved. I appreciate you guys so much. Thank you to Rich and Ramon! Renee M.

Ryan was pretty helpful with helping us find what suited us. As a younger salesman he showed great initiative and was always able to answer questions or find the answers. This initiative I feel serves him well in his abilities to help customers feel at easy in a decision that can make or break your bank account. Overall great experience with all the staff.

Veterans Beware! Took a two hour drive after being assured they would work with me on the advertised price. When I arrived they wouldn't move one cent off the listed price. I did some research in the parking lot and decided the price was not unreasonable so I decided to move forward. When I went in and presented my pre approved promissory note from Navy Federal Credit Union I was told they do not accept that banks financing. Knowing that Navy Federal Credit Union is the largest bank serving Veterans and protecting them from predatory sales practices I have to wonder what is wrong with this dealership. The Sales person was great but the dealership is literally a throwback to the days of shady practices and bait and switch.

Overall, happy with my car. Not quite as happy with the dealership. Dan, my salesman, could not have been nicer or more apologetic for the delays in getting my sale done - although, in my opinion, it was one of the fastest car purchases I've ever endured so I have no complaints there or with Dan Gallagher. Also, the F&I guy, Jessie, was efficient and had me out the door within 10 minutes, once I got to his office. HURRAY for that.

My complaint is with the dealership's pricing and fees (things that are out of Dan's or Jessie's control). They advertised the car I purchased on Autotrader.com for $27250, however the actual sales price was over $29,000, and then they gave me some "credit" for trading in a car and something else - I'd prefer transparency up-front, thanks.

Then they tack on $795.00 for "predelivery service charge", which in my opinion, and my experience working at a major Toyota dealer in Wisconsin, should be factored into the price of the car. On top of that, then they tack on another $800 or so for "documentation". I love the car and I'm not prone to quibble about a few dollars here and there, so we did end up sealing the deal, but I'm a little disappointed in this sort of "sleight of hand".

I am not sure that I would have driven 90 minutes to buy this car if I'd KNOWN that it's price was going to be inflated significantly by fees and dealership charges. They also try to justify rather low trade-in valuation by adding the tax-savings into the trade-in value - that really should not be considered as part of the trade's value, that should stand entirely on its own. Lastly, on our way home, we realized they didn't even wash the car. UGH. my "new" car was all dirty so we couldn't show it off.

For $1500 in dealer fees, they could have detailed the exterior, in my opinion. //UPDATE 2/20/2022 - Dan G called to apologize to me that my car was not cleaned before it was delivered to me and made arrangements for me to get it detailed at my convenience. Great customer service. Long/Short - would I recommend: Dealership - I don't think so.

They were nice enough, the car is THE BOMB, and the facilities are top-notch, but their pricing practices are shady. Salesman (Dan Gallagher) - yep - 5/5 - he handled us very well.

We will most definitely be back for any future vehicles! Brad (sales) and Annette (finance) were absolutely wonderful. Brad spent 5+ hours with us trying to get the deal we wanted. He was kind, patient, knowledgable and honest. He even bought our little guy a snack while we were working with finance. He ensured we got our new vehicle nice and clean before leaving.

It's no wonder he's had such success selling vehicles! Annette was incredibly helpful with the financing process and so patient with us and our son. She had coloring books and crayons to help entertain our little guy while we worked with her. By far, this was the best car purchase experience we've had!

I have never had a bad experience anytime I've visited. Even when I wasn't sure if I was ready to commit to purchasing. I've bought two vehicles from them and each time they made my car buying experience great. David L was my salesperson this time, he was very polite and very knowledgeable with every vehicle I looked at. He knew what I wanted and I was able to leave happy with my latest purchase. FYI very handsome staff.it's a perk!

One of my best car buying experiences! I was afraid that I would be upside down in my old car since I bought it new, but they offered me 200 above what I owed and I was able to leave in a sweet mustang! My salesman Dan G. was very knowledgeable of the car's features and was super friendly without pressuring me to buy. The finance manager was also great and was able to work with me to get the best payments! Thank you Dan G. and Dan C.!

I am very pleased with the service and assistance I received from my salesman Ben & the finance Mgr Dan the Man! I got a better APR than my current financer USAA offered with a lower payment than I expected. The experience was needless to say FABULOUS! MERRY CHRISTMAS 2021 to me!

Got my car about 3 months ago. I got mail stating some of the banks that looked at loan request was denied because of "incomplete paperwork" at first it was explained to me that it was nothing and was bribed to change my review but I called 2 of the 6 banks that sent me this letter. They informed me that they only got partial information from automax. I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed. They stopped me from getting a better deal and now I'm stuck with a very high interest rate and high payment. Will not be sending anyone their way I feel very cheated.

Automax salesman/manager kicked a potential buyer off lot because he was not buying at that specific moment. Told to "browse online" in a hostile manner and told "to leave the dealership" by this individual as well. https://www.facebook.com/1632422677/posts/10222267637153152/?d=n https://www.ocalapost.com/automax-accused-of-kicking-potential-buyer-off-lot-because-he-was-not-buying-at-that-moment/

Buyer BEWARE, this is going to be lengthy but I just want to share my experience with Automax here in Ocala, we purchased a 2019 Nissan Armada on April 14th with 39k miles, since then within the first couple weeks it struggled to start, I called them and was told change the key fob batteries they go dead fast, ok done, a week later I'm having intermittent issues with it starting period and have to mess with it anywhere from 5-20 minutes before the push start decides to cooperate and it cranks, also, side note, my husband is a first responder and gone 24-48 hours at a time and I usually have 3 kids buckled into car seats and it's 110 degrees out when I'm stuck with a vehicle I paid 35k for expecting reliability and now leaves me stranded randomly. Moving forward we decided out of precaution to change the actual battery of the truck, a few days later same thing, still won't crank.

My husband has amazing credit we could have done business anywhere but chose to stay local and go to automax based on a referral and the fact that we were looking elsewhere and they told us "we'll keep in mind we have a one year warranty and take pride and back our vehicles should any issue arise" well here we are I've spoke to Tony the GM, Cecil and Jesse and are being told oh well it's not their problem because it's not the power train! UMMM this vehicle won't start %90 of the time I've had issues since two weeks in and was him hawed around each time I called about petty things to try to stretch the time out and here I am barely over 90 days and being told it's not their problem. UNBELIEVABLE and in my opinion unacceptable for a basically brand new vehicle.

If I could give 0 stars I would Went in with my mom at the end of May Everything was great purchased a ford ecosport which she loves. Last week she got three letters in the mail where they had ran her credit for financing which she never gave permission for them to do. We told the sales guy Miles up front that she had financing in place already. What they did was illegal and I do plan on filing a complaint with the BBB and the consumer financial bureau and anywhere else I can to prevent this from happening again

I am actually shocked that the rating is so low. I personally had a great experience. After weeks of searching online and comparing prices I decided it was time to go see the cars in person. Auto max was last on my list because it was farthest from my home but I should have just gone there first and saved myself the headache. I found they were very upfront with the prices and very honest. Donte was my sales person and he was great.

He was very friendly and I really felt like he worked hard with us and for us to get us what I feel is a very fair price on our auto. Our finance guy was Dan and he also was very nice and had us in and out and in our new vehicle in no time. There was some negotiation and some back and forth but I have bought cars from various dealers recently and I really have to hand it to Automax because they made me feel like a valued customer. I don't know maybe our sales rep Dante was just extraordinary.

Hi, I have been looking for a used truck for about 30-60 days. I live in South Florida and noticed a F150 Platinum for sale that was in great condition. The pics looks amazing and the autocheck had no accidents reported. Knowing I would be driving to Tampa in just a day or two for the holidays, i made an offer of FULL ASKING price to the dealer with my trade in, the balance would be paid in cash (20,000).

They accepted via email and we did all of the paper work and i even out a credit card deposit down to hold the truck. Today, I drove 6 hours on a holiday week with my two 9 year olds to the dealership to pick up the truck and be on my way only to arrive and find damage to the vehicle. The front right fender has a dent and the bumper has scratches and a gouge in it.

The manager immediately said its like 100 dollars in damage and after a long discussion offered me 300 dollars. BAIT AND SWITCH. Not truthful and this truck needs to be in a body shop for a day or two plus a rental car. I made a reasonable counter for a 1000 credit so i could get the car repaired in south florida and they replied 300 bucks. This is the exact reason car salesman get a bad rap. AVOID THIS PLACE. EVEN A STAFF MEMBER STATED AS I WAS WALKING OUT I'M SORRY THATS FUCKED UP.

I drive 6 hours with two 9 years olds in the car when i was advertised a car that was in no accidents and had no damage. Pretty messed up. The sales guy in Rob and slimy but not nearly as slimy as the used car manager who only offered 300 dollars of a 37000 truck that had dents, gouges and scratches yet advertise a mint condition car. I hope this message helps future car owners to avoid this place.

We had been looking everywhere for a truck, my husband stopped by AutoMax on his way home Saturday. He spoke with a really nice salesperson (Kelly). they had exactly what he was looking for. think you AutoMax, Kelly and Ernesto for being so wonderful, and helpful. We will be back soon - my Mom is looking for a car and we will definitely be bringing her to AutoMax.

I drove 45 miles to look at a 2006 Jaguar convertible they had listed, just to be told it wasn't on the lot. I was called by Edgar to come back over (45 miles) to look at it, it was there. Once I got there, through Friday afternoon traffic, I was told again it wasn't on the lot. Do the math, that's 180 miles for Nothing. This AutoMax is a joke, and it all starts with the manager. The franchise, if there is one, should seriously look into this dealership before they ruin a reputation they've worked on Nationally.

AutoMax Ocala was super -- great experience buying a car yesterday. Dan Gallagher was a super salesman who listened well to my questions -- totally professional. He was excellent to maintain contact with me after initial email contact while I still lived in Germany. Talked to him on the phone and had a totally professional impression. He stayed with me through complications getting money from my account to pay for the vehicle, but we got it all done within just a few hours.insurance arrangement and all. My case was complicated because I was DoD just moving from overseas. I highly recommend Dan Gallagher! Text him at: (352) 509-5468.

Why can't we give them ZERO stars? First off, then general sales manager or whatever title he gave himself is INCREDIBLY rude to his salesman! He yelled at them "to get outside" then when they went to go stand in the 100 degree heat, he'd berate them & say "Don't lean against the wall!" I mean PLEASE! No one likes salesmen standing around in the ridiculous heat like sharks.

Use s REAL legitimate strategy in bringing in customers & getting sales! Oh & don't yell at your salesman where potential customers can hear! You're a fat idiot, anyway. No wonder your dealership looks & feels pathetic. I listened for at least 30-45 minutes while my husband was car shopping. I eventually told husband I DIDNT want to do business here & thankfully we happily purchased a used vehicle that same day from Deluca Toyota. I'm going to post pictures of the "kid friendly area." Mind you, I told the associate our son had just had a kidney transplant 4 weeks ago! WHO Would let their kids play in this area?

Notice the nasty chip hanging out in the drawer? The bizarre dirty doll? Every single thing was either broken or absolutely nasty. The TV did not even have basic cable. But honestly this was the least of this dealership's problems! I am so very glad we did not purchase a vehicle from here. They didn't even try to get our business!

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. They are the stereotypical used car sales people and after meeting the manager I could understand why the sales people were so dishonest. I couldn't get a straight answer and they kept trying to push me into a vehicle over the price range I told them I was comfortable with. I've warned my family, friends and coworkers not to waste their time with this place. Buyer beware! What a waste of time and energy!

We went to trade in our two vehicles on one vehicle at this location. One of our vehicles we were told that they needed to have a mechanic check it out before they would offer us a price. We dropped the vehicle off overnight and they called the next day. We agreed on a total price for their vehicle and our trades. I was told it was a done deal, all I needed to do is come in and sign papers.

I told him I was working at the time and I would be by as soon as I get off work. When I left work two hours later and was headed there, they called me and said the vehicle was sold to someone else. They said they have a no hold policy that was never explained to me. They offered no solutions and basically said sorry for your luck. When we picked up our vehicle back from the dealership there was now damage to our vehicle that occurred during their inspection. Needless to say they never told us about it, and we discovered this the next day. I will never return here.

This by far was the WORST car purchase I've ever had. My sales person was randy. He was very nice. Actually everyone was very nice & friendly. They hold the door open for you when you come in & out & say hello. I traded in my car for a jeep Cherokee. Exciting? Should've been. On 7/8 We put the car in my name & I explained that because my husband was prior military I have a special extension card that renews my license every year even though it says it's expired.

No one seemed concerned. I filled out all the paperwork & when I was finished the "finance manager" SCOTT tells me my license is expired when he ran it online so I can't take the car. He was also very condescending the entire time. So I had to call to pick me up bc I had no car. Call the next day (7/9) asking to pick up the car the manager says since its insured under me, I can.

Come to get it but SCOTT says he can't give me the paperwork & contracts I signed until I bring back a lisence. I agreed bc it was showing up invalid online. Monday(7/11) comes I call Florida DMV & inquire as to why it wasn't renewing. They agree it's a clerical error & fix it. Great! Go after work to see Scott. He asks if I brought a valid lisence.

I explain he can run my current one & it will show up fine. He then starts arguing saying no, he looks it up eventually and acknowledges that yes it says valid but he doesn't think he can accept it. Excuse me? This is how he views military circumstance. I understand it's strange but I had documentation proving it was valid and jumping through hoops never losing my cool til now.

After arguing I walked out of his office to speak to a manager "Tony". Scott bring me my paperwork. Tony apologized but if I knew it would be difficult I wouldn't have traded in my car. Though I'm happy with my new car this entire thing was far painful. They will never have my business again.
