If you want the next 10 years of your life to have a chance just a chance to be financially f*/ then don't read further. This dealership would rather kill someone in a vehicle they know is dangerous then to do what they promised. The 110 point inspection is no good it means nothing just like their word. Because I bought from them and trusted that I was in good hands, 5 years later I am even worse off then I was when I was a single, a mom raising two boys alone without help whatsoever.

Wish I could give no stars. Me and my wife bought a 2016 Dodge Journey From chad green. We asked him if this car has been in a accident he told us NO. We have paperwork from hertz when we signed at the end, there is no car fax, no information telling us that our car was not in a wreck. And we purchased our car in 2018. So on 7/20/20, we decided to try and trade our car at team Hyundai was excited about a new vehicle, then our sales guy told us that we can not trade your car in because your car Was in an accident airbags deployed, it contained moderate to severe damage to the vehicle.

And so now I'm stuck with a lemon car from hertz. And chad from hertz Rushed the signing process on me and my wife so he can get home and take care of his cattle. Do not buy from hertz they sell lemons. It's sad that you guys have to rush and screw us working people off of a car so you guys can make money.

We had a very positive experience with Hertz Car Sales. We worked with, Joshua O'Brien, who did not pressure us, or try and sell us anything we didn't need. We gave him our budget and he worked hard to make that happen. We are very happy with the car, and have Hertz to thank.

Zero or negative stars! Do not buy a vehicle from these people. They are shady dishonest crooks! Sold us a car with mechanical problems (a 2015 with only 32K miles), worked on it under their warranty, made the problem worse and voided a manufacturer warranty that we were unaware of until it was too late. Accused us of causing the problems. Found out they had paid someone $200 to conceal body damage before we purchased the vehicle. Didn't notice the body damage until we got the car back from their service dept. and washed the vehicle (paint and filler came off the car onto the wash mitt).

They blamed us for causing the body damage even though it we found out later it was documented in their paperwork but not disclosed to us. Finally had to pay someone else to fix the mechanical issues, but now its having new problems. When we took the car to the original dealership, also found out it had 2 open recalls. It took a month for it to be repaired. Hertz specifically told us there were no recalls on the vehicle when we purchased it. We've had to have the car towed twice, barely been able to drive it since May because of all the problems.

They will give you the run around and blame you for any problems that arise. Even if they gave a lifetime warranty, it wouldn't do any good because their service dept. is not capable of fixing anything! They refuse to buy the vehicle back or even help with the cost of properly fixing the body damage ($1,850). Their only offer was for us to trade the vehicle in (probably at half of what we paid) for another vehicle on their lot. WHY WE WOULD WANT ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THEM?! No thanks, we have hired a consumer advocacy attorney!

I went to Hertz three different times while looking for a car after mine was totaled. I had a very specific budget. After looking at four other local car dealers, I went back to Hertz. I went in and talked to Brian, told him my budget, and criteria -he immediately suggested two vehicles that were well within my parameters. I picked one and I was out of there with my new car in an hour and half.

At the time my credit wasn't the best, and another local dealer tried to sell me a car for, catch this, 8 percentage points higher than Hertz offered! Other dealers tried the old warehousing tricks of : trying to sell me something I couldn't afford ( the best payment they had was over $150 more a month than I could afford) running the sale between the sales manager and sales person, trying to appeal to my "love" of a car rather than my necessity to stay on budget, talking non stop to keep me on site and distracted from details of deal. shame shame shame.

But not at Hertz, Brian was respectful, stayed in my budget, the bonus is we found a car I love. 3.5 years later it still runs like a champ. I saved thousands of dollars by buying a 1 year old car versus new. Next car: I will go to Hertz! Their low key sales approach, willingness to listen to my needs- rather than making the biggest sale-in addition to great prices made me a life long customer.

Bought a truck here 4 months ago and after having it a while I really didn't like it. I had a bad experience my first time here so I went to Smolich instead. Luckily once I got my new truck threw Smolich my buddy who works there called me and told me they found frame damage on my old Ram that I bought from Hertz. And now it's a BRANDED title! Luckily for Hertz because I would have tried to sue them.

Never was in an accident or even off roaded it. I hope Smolich can come back and do something to hertz about it. Never come to hertz to buy a car/truck. Reasons why you only think of them as a rental company because that's what they should only be. If your in Bend I'd say go to Smolich or Robinson Ford.

Just bought our 4th car in 6 years from Hertz in Bend. Reasonable prices and trade in values without an undue amount of negotiating. Just make sure you check values on Kelly Blue Book before you make an offer. A little too much high pressure on extended warranties and oil change packages at the end of the process, but you can just keep saying no. We'll probably buy from them again.

Hertz sells wrecked auction cars! They are liars and I suggest having a good lawyer if you purchase a car from them. They target people with low credit scores and going through a hardship, stick them in the most worthless car on the lot and BAM you're screwed! They sold me a car with deployed airbags that's was wrecked and written off in California, never told me, found out a year later.

Long story but they put me in such a horrible situation and all they can say is "it's not salvaged" yeah but no one wants it now and I'm 6k upside down even if someone would buy it. I have talked to a lawyer and I do have a case! Bottom line Hertz sucks and I was dumb for being trusting! I honestly never thought big dealerships did stuff like this now days.

But if you move a wrecked car to a couple different states with less restrictive Consumer Protection Laws it can be done. So beware if a car has low miles and has been in a few states in the past it most likely was an insurance loss and sat wrecked in an auction yard waiting for a shady dealership to buy it for dirt cheap, fix it up with parts from Mexico and pass it off as a great low mile car worthy of Blue Book pricing. Take an Uber before buying from Hertz!

Daryl Toci at hertz car sales was simply fantastic. I felt at ease with him, I didn't feel any pressure or felt like I was being suckered into a too good to be true scam. I wasn't even planning on purchasing a car that day. However as he got to know what kinda of car I was looking for in the budget I wanted he showed me a couple cars that he thought might fit the bill.

The last car he showed me was a Toyota and that car fitted me just like a glove. Again he was very knowledgeable and not sales pushy or sales hypy at all but was able to help me jump on this incredible deal that i probably would have missed out on if I didn't take that decisive action.

We bought an SUV from Daryl, who knew we couldn't afford any repairs any time soon and how important having an all wheel drive vehicle is when you live in central Oregon, because we have a large family with children who will be riding in all 3 rows and we make frequent drives over the Santiam Pass through the winters. There was a small dent preventing the passenger side door from opening enough to squeeze into the car, and he said they would have that fixed with a simple tweak.

The day we drove off the lot right after buying it, the car almost broke down. We took it to a local transmission shop who said there were definitely transmission problems and felt bad that we even bought the car. So when I came back to Hertz the next day with the transmission diagnoses and ready to have to passenger door fixed, Daryl RAISED HIS VOICE at me in anger and frustration in front of other people (I am a woman) AND OFFERED TO USE A CROWBAR TO FIX THE DOOR.

We refused to work with him from that point forward and I complained to Dan, the manager. We were sent across the street to their repair shop where they said somebody put the wrong transmission fluid in and they flushed the transmission with the correct fluid and applied the $1,000 Xzilon treatment we bought to the interior and exterior. We left with a car that still shuttered, was a mess in the inside-not detailed or clean looking at all, AND all the dash warning lights were on, AND a door that now opened, but was now even more dented along with the body around the front wheel.

We came back the next day to check on all the warning lights and let them know that the car still shutters, AND NOW half of the front windshield seals had blown off in the wind. Even though we paid EXTRA for the warranty that covered a whole new transmission, they said the inspector refused to allow a new one to be put in, even the one they located from a car with 3,000 miles on it.

They replaced the windshield seals, and probably manually turned off any warning lights left. Mel was the most uninformed and unhelpful repair shop person we have ever worked with- or he was playing dumb to avoid any expensive (real) repairs we would make them pay for. THEN, while driving over the Pass during a WINTER STORM WARNING, I found out that this SUV was NOT all wheel drive!

It is only front wheel drive. Daryl KNEW how important it was that we had at least an all wheel drive vehicle and that we had children who would be traveling in the back! SLIME BALL. They only offered for us to exchange the car not reverse the sale and give us our old car back because it had only been 3-4 days at this point. The only cars they had available for exchange that had enough seats to seat our whole family, were too expensive.

They wouldn't even buy us snow tires to make up for the angry slime ball who lied by omission when he sold us the car, so we were down another $700 buying snow tires. Two years later, we are stuck with this car and it's negative equity, that still shutters with transmission problems, the automatic Vehicle Stability Assistance doesn't work, we don't feel safe visiting our parents over the pass for much of the winter because it's front wheel drive with no working VSA, there are spots of rust popping up all over, and it's clunking every time we make a turn.

And don't waste your money on warranties they'll never honor, and don't waste your money on the $1,000 Xzilon treatment that they claimed wouldn't let central Oregon's pine tree sap stick to it- It doesn't work or make any difference having it. They should all be ashamed of themselves, except Alan at the repair shop, he was the only understanding decent person we ever spoke to. Dan tried, but never actually came up with a real solution, only directed us to another pushy salesman that made it obvious he didn't want to work with us because we were questioning everything at that point. Reading the rest of the reviews, it sounds like most of their cars are in bad shape and they aren't honest enough to admit it. Thanks for the debt, Hertz!

They lied to me. They said I had free oil changes for a year (purchased car in May/June of last 2017). Chad Greene was salesman. I have had one oil change since then. They lied. Terribly disappointing that they won't honor what they said. Love my car, but I will never use Hertz again for anything. I will be filing a complaint to the BBB as well. I have several friends that have used Hertz and they too were told free oil changes for a year-don't understand why they can't honor their promise.

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. I'm astonished at the positive reviews of this place. They will lie, cheat and steal if they have to to get a sale. They sold me a car that was unsafe for the road-after of course buying it then taking it to a shop to get it checked out. Completely rusted underneath. The guy told me not to purchase the car, not knowing I already had.

Warning lights kept coming on. Hertz told me it would be $1,000 to fix the sensor for the tires. Told me they would do nothing about it. All kinds of things kept going wrong with it. The alarm kept going off randomly all night long, the back part wouldn't even open and when it did it looked like it had been under water. So I had to threaten to action legally if they were going to allow me to drive an unsafe car on the road.

Then they quietly bought it back. I was told it was going to be impounded. Oh yeah and ask about there 100 point inspection and what they do? Ask for the paperwork. They can't give it to you because they don't do it! They kept changing the subject when I asked. So I had to choose another car from them. Didn't want to but had to. Chose a nice Ford Edge.

I just got it out of the shop today for a brake boost recall it had from 2014. It stalled on me 3 times on the way to the Ford dealership! BTW Robberson Ford is AMAZING! Fixed it in one day and charged it to ford as a recall. Sooo nice and courteous. I will NEVER step foot in hertz EVER again and hopefully I can save someone else a year full of headaches and dealing with shady business practices by hertz!

Appear to be honest and sincere. Not the case. Bought a new car less then a week ago and have had to spend almost $500 for new tires and new battery. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK! Won't be referring friends and won't be saying anything nice. I would think they would try to keep a new customer content. Guess it doesn't matter, they got my money and thru obviously don't want repeat business or word of mouth referrals. Another thing, social media is a good tool to get your thoughts and opinions out. Be smart, don't waste your money or time.

If you are purchasing a car from Hertz, please make certain that you take the car for an inspection at another facility. We did not and were accused by both sales and service that we had an accident which was not true and they would not cover the repairs although minor.

My experience was awful. Twice I was called by my salesman to come see a car like what I was looking for and twice shifted to another man when I got there who didn't even know what car I had been called in to see. I would never recommend them to anyone, especially a single woman who is relying on being treated honestly and fairly.

While they have a sizeable quiver of decent autos, their approach to car sales is suspect. After a few test drives of various cars, I was given the greasy hard sell. this car is going to be off the lot and sold to someone at the end of the day. Dead battery, Tire pressure system warning light, and super dirty interior. I came back a week later. car was still there. things werent fixed. they wanted to negotiate sales price based on as is condition. and again. car's going to be sold by end of day, other people are waiting to buy it. a month later that vehicle is still on their lot.

If they have exactly what you're looking for, just make sure it is mechanically sound. if you are not a seasoned veteran, I'd avoid these guys. they arent really out to help you.

I went into Hertz and was immediately uncomfortable. The sales guys were VERY pushy! Trying to push cars on me that I was NOT interested in. They sat me down and tried making me sign papers to have a car from another lot brought over. A car I didn't want! After long awkward moments I finally walked out. The sales guy following asking more questions. Every day for a week after I got an obnoxious pushy phone call from the dealership. This place truly is the stereotypical pushy sales men type place.

This dealership is criminal. My parents were stranded after a car accident and they were swayed into purchasing a vehicle to have transportation to proceed to San Diego. The problem is they took full advantage of my senior citizen parents who were very unknowing. Sold them a car valued by the banks at $5,000 and charged more than $12,000. They refuse to help rectify the situation and give us false information and lies when we call in defense of my parents. Dan Marshall, Sales manager, has been rude to our family and uncooperative.

My parents are retired, senior citizens with very little income. Now they are stuck with this unbearable expense and financial stress. I'm really sorry and sad for them. Too bad the Hertz management and ownership have zero compassion for elders.
