Edgar L "Ed" Atzenhoffer established the dealership at age 23 with only two employees. Ed had previous experience at a local Buick dealership. During these early days Atzenhoffer served as office manager, sales manager, clerk, bookkeeper, and even janitor. The young company grew quickly and delivered 396 new cars in less than 2 years.

Recently our 2021 Traverse developed a large hole in the exhaust pipe. I contacted a Chevy dealer in the town my wife commutes to and explained the situation. I was told by that service manager it would be 2 weeks before the car could even be looked at. I then contacted Atzenhoffer and spoke with Stephanie in the service department. After a brief explanation of our dilemma, she responded that she was well aware of the issues that those models have had and took our vehicle in the very next day.

Our vehicle was repaired in less than a day at no cost to us due to the factory warranty. Stephanie was so helpful going above and beyond to get our car back on the road. We can't say thank you enough.

All I can say is Liz in the Atzenhoffer Service Department has done it again! On top of being extremely friendly, she is prompt with updates and can or knows where to get my questions answered. I know that she doesn't do it ALL on her own, so many THANKS for the guys in the shop that are doing the work. Where else you can get a ride to and from work when you go in for a break job or oil change?!

That PLUS being able to borrow a courtesy vehicle when you have a more complicated repair. Talk about convenience! More importantly, I know that I am getting quality parts with professional installation whenever I drop my suburban at their door. Atzenhoffer has earned my business FOR LIFE with the constant and consistent exceptional service I have received over the years! [ Review for the Certified Service ] Liz Ward is so rude and unprofessional. If you need to fix your car, be aware of this woman. She will not go to answer anything about the inspection details but keep asking you to go to other stores. She will use everything she can to stop your questions. Very dishonest! I was like really?! Fixing the problem become my job?! Worst experience ever! And Google should design 0 stars feature for their users for the experience like this.

Honestly, IF I could give only.25 star, that would more honestly represent my opinion of this dealership! We had called (as we live over 60 miles away, this dealership ISNT in a direction that we would normally take AND due to our age, we both have health issues that we must accommodate, thus why we VERBALLY CONFIRM availability prior to embarking) to inquire about a used vehicle they had listed.

During the conversation with the salesman, he brought to our attention a BRAND SPANKING NEW (2022) vehicle that was "in transit" that fit our needs/requirements and surprisingly even our price point! We asked if they had similar units on the lot that we could at least get "a feel" for what this vehicle would be like. The salesman confirmed, SO we headed out.

We arrive and are shown the photos of the vehicle, given a list of all it's "bells & whistles" and we went to see two similar vehicles to have a better understanding of the vehicle we were interested in. Upon return to the showroom, we sat down and talked numbers. We ultimately "signed on the dotted line" and we're congratulated, while "finance" got the paperwork ready.

Despite this being a CASH SALE there are still last minute details and paperwork that one must complete. While we are setting there, a call comes in. Could tell immediately that something was amiss! A few minutes later, the sales manager enters and informs us that this vehicle, the one we'd spent the past 1.5 hours discussing, verifying, negotiating - salesman WENT TO the sales manager no less than 3 times, not to mention the hour + of drive time, was ALREADY SOLD! WHAT DEALERSHIP DOESN'T PULL "IN CONTRACT" VEHICLES FROM THEIR "AVAILABLE INVENTORY!?" Now this was BAD ENOUGH, however this dealership compounded the issue by : 1.

The sales manager IMMEDIATELY throws his salesman "under the bus" by stating that "he didn't bother to look closely." Now I'm a former spouse of a car salesman, so I KNOW that it is the SALES MANAGER'S RESPONSIBILITY to VERIFY everything of all sales; that MOST sales managers have "hard copy" listings of all vehicles "in inventory - detailing each units availability, pending or sold status!" 2.

Due to the "National vehicle shortage" there were NO OTHER SIMILAR ENOUGH vehicles on site or "in transit" that met our most basic requirements (no white or black exterior & no black interior!) 3. Before we left the building another salesman approached our salesman AND WITHIN our hearing, says "the financing came thru." So NOT ONLY was this dealership attempting to sell a vehicle ALREADY UNDER CONTRACT, but they accepted financing OVER A CASH SALE! (Now I realize that "the company" - Dodge, Chevy, Ford - that offers "in house" financing will make more on a financed vehicle due to interest, but the dealership sees none of that!) The dealership's I've had experience with in the past, have ALWAYS pulled a "sold" vehicle not only physically from inventory, but would ALSO VERY BOLDLY MARK any online ads with either "SOLD" or "SALE PENDING" indicators. YET, AS OF THIS WRITING (over 6 hours AFTER this fiasco!), THIS VEHICLE IS STILL SHOWING ON THIS DEALERSHIP'S WEBSITE AS AN "AVAILABLE" VEHICLE!

I wouldn't give this place another chance, IF they were GIVING us the vehicle! A complete and utter waste of time and resources! If not also a VIOLATION OF FEDERAL "BAIT & SWITCH" advertising regulations!

I had a click noise on my 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sports, and I took it to a Mecanic shop in Victoria Tx and they did not find where it was coming from, so I took it to Atzenhoffer Mitsubishi and they found the noise quick, and it was a very dangerous bolt that was coming loose, thank God they found it and fix it. Great place to take your vehicle for repair! I highly recommend this place, great service and fast. Thank you Atzenhoffer, and Thank you : Stephanie Johnson! Great job, my car feels like New.

Wow! Just Wow! Eric Pena is the greatest rep of all time! He was so kind and so willing to bend over backwards for us. Living in a different state, he wasn't required to work so hard on our behalf, but he did. He went above and beyond helping us with the distance, and thus timing issue;). Not because it was issue for him, but because we needed a lot of help to make it work. Eric and the manager Erik, even helped us figure out arrangements 2 hours away to get to their dealership.

They treated us like VIPs from start to finish. I would travel to TX again to buy something from their dealership! It would be worth the time and cost, just to work with them again! We are so grateful that you were so willing to treat us above and beyond! If you are ever in CO, we will be more than willing to give you a ride too! :) What FIRST CLASS SERVICE! Also, thank you to the finance team.the cost was far lower than fair and excellent customer service with all our questions!

Love our vehicles we purchased! Our sales person was very helpful & not over doing it to get a sale. He listened to everything we wanted & needed. Very professional and we highly recommend them. For us it was a overall great experience and not frustrating or anything. Just pure excitement & very satisfied!

Our salesman, Jeff Smith, is absolutely the best. We have purchased 2 vehicles from Atzenhoffer and dealt with Jeff both times. He's an honest, knowledgeable, no bs kind of guy. Before we purchased our first car (2017 Mirage) from Atzenhoffer, I called a different dealership that was advertised as the "volume dealer" in Texas. I asked for the "out the door price" and my vehicle trade-in value.

A salesperson called me back and said the used car manager would take an hour to determine the trade in value (it was a 20 year old Saturn), but it would probably be between $250 and $750 which was fine. He said the price of the new car we wanted was "X". I said I'd have to think about it. An hour later a different salesperson called and said he was the previous salesperson's manager and that he could authorize the price of the new Mirage to be "Y". Ugh!

I could see where this was going. An hour later yet another person called and said that he was the 2nd caller's boss and could authorize the new car price to be "Z". At this point, I was exhausted thinking about dealing with those people, driving to the city, AND spending an hour with my "good old girl" Saturn on the lift so they could decide what NOT to give me for a trade-in value.

I took a chance and called Atzenhoffer. I love driving to Victoria and figured after the fiasco with the "volume leader" place, I would see what they had to say. I called and got Jeff Smith on the phone. At this point my patience was already thin because of the other dealership. I said "I need this car with these features, I have a '97 Saturn to trade-in, and I need an out the door price".

He called me back in 15 minutes, had exactly what I wanted, and gave me an out the door price within $100 of what took 3 phone calls to the "volume dealer", (more like bs dealer). He also said they'd give me $500 for my trade. I said "just like that, no hour in the shop?". He said "nope." We drove straight to Atzenhoffer in Victoria after that call.

We met with Jeff and took our new car for a test drive. He filled out all of the paperwork quickly, (wonderful penmanship by the way), then took us to see Raymond in Finance. Raymond is extremely knowledgeable about financing vehicles, the best way to go about it, and super fast. By the way, his electronic desk is the coolest thing ever. Give them chance, and you'll see what I mean.

We were in and out in no time with the best car buying experience I've ever had. No bs, upfront BEST price, and very friendly. Never once did I feel like Jeff was going to "go see what his boss says about the price". If you need a new car, go see Jeff Smith. Atzenhoffer has many new cars for the same price as many places has used ones so why wouldn't you?

I can't say enough that Jeff is the best. We have purchased 2 vehicles so far (the first got totalled by baseball sized hail) and my kids are now 16 and 17. I have no doubt that will be going back to see him. Thanks Jeff!
