I was able to get the same day appointment. When I arrived at the service center, The Captain took my keys and walked me to the front desk. Mac checked me in and he had Bruce drove me home. Originally I was planning to just wait there in the lobby. An hour and a half before my car was due to be done I got a phone call and they sent Steve to pick me back up and brought me back to the shop.
It was Andrew who really made an impression. He took extra time in helping me get my GPS and clock working. My car was ready an hour and a half for it was supposed to be. The service at Placer Subaru is impeccable. This is just a second time here in the last 3 years as I don't live in Helena, Montana I'm just passing through.

We came from Belgrade to purchase a vehicle, as the vehicle shortage D/T covid is a struggle! Not only were they about 2k cheaper than Bozeman, but it was the most stress-free vehicle purchase I have ever made. Crystal was wonderful to work with. Truly the most "no pressure" experience I've ever had. I WILL buy another vehicle from here when the time comes. Thank you so much! Fantastic experience!

I am from Billings and was camping near Helena when we had a several warning lights come on. We drove around to several automotive shops to get codes read and cleared. However no one was able to truly tell us what what going on with our car. We were finally referred to Placer Subaru and Andrew got our car looked at immediately. Turns out that we needed a new body case. Andrew got a us in a rental so we could go back to our campsite and enjoy our vacation.
He also had a mechanic stay late and to work on our car so we could safely drive back to billings. I am extremely grateful to the staff at Placer Subaru for getting us back on the road. And an extra thanks to Andrew and the technician that worked late, I would say that they went above and beyond to get us home safely.

Poor Service Department: My granddaughter had my Subaru 2010 towed to Placer Subaru after a breakdown. She was told the engine was blown and they would take the car off our hands but wouldn't pay us for the car. We had the car towed to Missoula to our mechanic. The engine isn't blown and the car can be repaired easily. Really sounds like they were taking advantage of a young student and trying to rip her off, or they are very poor mechanics.

My family spends a long time car shopping and Placer Motors blew me away with a excellent customer service and low pressure decisions. We were treated as humans here and not "Cash Cows"s like some other dealerships in Helena. I want to give high praise to Ken and Crystal who put up with us while they let us test drive nearly every Forester and Outback on their lot before we finally settled on our 2020 Outback.
I've purchased multiple vehicles through dealerships in the past and have always left stressed out. I will admit this was the only time we have purchased a car that didn't add more grey hairs if you know what I mean. Thanks for being awesome Placer Motors!

Placer Motors Subaru has been more than good to me over the years. Since my first LG wagon, up to my current Subaru LEGACY I have always been treated with respect. All of my questions have been answered so to be sure I'm getting the right part for the regularly scheduled maintenance and repair. Subaru vehicles give me confidence in the winter, and I have continued great faith in the vehicles safety. Its nice to see that Placer is able to service a wide variety of vehicles as well. "Trucks too" Thank you to all the folks at Placer, present, past, and future.

I just returned to Helena - but, I don't trust the service department here. I took my Subaru in for a service and they marked a few leaks down - when asked they said it was just wear. Hmm. a 2016 with 27k miles has an oil seal leak that is just wear? Subaru is a much better car than that. Unfortunately, they don't seem to care much about my car.
They seem unwilling or unable to explain much about the car / issues. But they are quick to say you need something more. Last summer, I brought my Subaru in due to three warning lights illuminating - it took them an hour and a half to find that the brake light fuse needed replacing (a part that cost less than a dollar ended up costing me over $100 - I was embarrassed for them. I don't think I will return (and I am on my 4th Subaru).

I bought a Porsche 911 Turbo in September 2016 and the dealership reported the mileage incorrectly. I have emailed them 3 times but no response. My ebay listing shows a problem with the title because they reported two different mileage figures. Avoid this dealership is not trustworthy. I am now going to have to pay an attorney to chase them down. Avoid avoid avoid!@!@
