Carson trailer failed to make the trailer not exceed 90 inches in total width including the fenders. One picture shows the fenders are 94 inches. The other picture are boards placed against the wheels showing a measurement of 92.5 inches. UPDATE: One day later and the bolt for the trailer jack shears.

Work on our trailer was not done as requested, overcharged, very sloppy work, actually damaged the trailer. Took twice the time we were told it would. Went to pick it up during regular working hours, gate was locked, nobody there. Had to ask for receipt when we finally got the trailer back. VERY bad service, didn't seem to care if the work was done right. Needless to say, we will not be going to Carson Trailer again, ever!

I have a trailer of theirs for decades. I called in because I needed a part. I was told it was gonna be a long time to get it and I should find something locally, I explain to them I moved far away and would need something specific, and I was willing to wait, after trying to persuade me to not buy from them repeatedly, I was done hung up on and ghosted as I tried to call them back multiple times over 30 minutes.
They were obviously seen my caller ID and they picked up the phone and hung up on me repeatedly. Very unprofessional, very bad customer service. It's really too bad, because their product isn't horrible.

So far my trailer has had a broken axle and a broken tongue (I bought the 10,000 pound heavy duty version). They said it was due to overloading, but I know it's not overloaded. I had the exact same trailer and it lasted me 11 years without any broken axle or tongue, and it had the exact same load. This indicates that the quality of their parts and/or manufacturing has gone down considerably.
In addition, I ordered my trailer in December 2014, but didn't get it until late July of 2015. They made it wrong twice! I gave them explicit diagrams with measurements, I would NEVER use this company again!

STAY AWAY! If you're looking for custom trailer go somewhere else. Here's my experience. I purchase an enclosed trailer at the Sand Sports Super Show September 15. We were given a 5 week lead time but 5 weeks turned into three months and I am still having issues. After I was given the extended lead time of 8 weeks. 8 weeks turned into 12. Finally I got the email my trailer was ready Nov 6 end of week.
I showed up Nov 14th 8 days after I received en email that my trailer was ready. I show up and the paint is still wet, they were assembling the rear door therefore it was never ready. Here is the best part the trailer was built incorrectly even after we had a parts list from day one. No E-track, wrong cabinets, no rear load light, no main cutout switch for the 12v.
The sales guy obviously didn't check the trailer beforehand. This wasted 3 hrs of my time. Wait there's more! When I finally went to pick it up a second time there was still things wrong with it. Electrical outlet in the wrong location still and when i backed into my shop I noticed bent legs I have been emailing the last couple days with zero success I have been trying to get a hold of someone with no replies back. At this point I 'm ready to return the trailer there is zero work effort and absolute no customer service. If I could give zero stars I would

I was in the market to purchase a trailer and found Carson Trailer via the internet. I spoke to Greg, who was friendly and more than helpful with information regarding trailer sizes, cost, warranty and immediate trailer availability. Greg mentioned that the trailer I wanted was not in stock, but he had a few arrive the night before and needed to check.
To my surprise he had the exact trailer I was looking for and would hold it until I arrived to inspect. I inspected the brand new trailer and found out the running lights did not work? Greg had a mechanic inspect the trailer, but couldn't find anything wrong so he inspected my truck and found a bad fuse. He ended up replacing the bad fuse without charging me a dime. I'm extremely happy with my trailer and quality of service provided by Carson Trailer and would recommend them to anyone in the market for a trailer.

It was at the last minute as Carson Trailer was closing at 5pm on a Saturday night that I came upon Alex, standing amidst an array of fabulous trailers. Despite the fact that he may have wanted to shut down for the night, he gave me a grand tour of all the options of 6x10' and 6x12 enclosed trailers, patiently showing each one to me with ZERO pressure.

I don't believe the negative reviews that I have seen on this Carson Trailer locations so I felt the need to share my experience. Firstly, Michelle is a very nice and personable lady. She worked with me on getting my trailer partially rewired. She gave me best and worse case pricing up front and prior to any work being done. They rewired the trailer, inspected the brakes ( we had feared they would need replacing) and got my trailer finished in a timely manner and was nothing but professional. All this and my trailer isn't even a Carson trailer! You can trust Michelle to do what she says and that is priceless.

Carson trailers is the place to be if you want a REAL trailer that can handle day to day work. I originally went just to look. I first spoke with Boyd. He was very helpful and never once tried to get me to look at something that did not fit my needs. I was very satisfied after leaving. I did not get anything the first round, just looking. After all the help, I went back right before new years. Boyd was not in but Micah helped me find the right trailer and left with the perfect trailer for my needs.
Could not have gotten a better deal with great help. I went back to get a lock made, they took care of me immediately, and included it for no charge. I would recommend Carson trailers to anyone looking for a quality trailer for a great price. They can also make you anything custom from the ground up or just simple modifications. Brendan W
