Nelson Long partnered with Andy Trotter in 1976 in what was then a Pontiac, Fiat dealership on Broad Street. Prior to that time he had served as a Captain in the US Army, earned a Masters Degree, and worked in several sales and management positions in auto dealerships. Working with some of the finest professional in the automotive industry, Nelson Long has continued to grow and build. Was in the market for a new truck saw a listing on Facebook contacted Gabriel and we went through a few trucks on there Athens lot after narrowing the list to a 2019 Ram Longhorn 4x4 we cut a deal and I went home with a new to me truck if your in the market for a vehicle and you don't want to feel that pushy sales guy breathing down your neck call Gabriel he was patient and when throught multiple trucks to find me the right deal give him a chance to do the same for you.

I do not normally post reviews however I felt the need to do so after the great customer service my daughter and I received specifically from Eddie Bartlett. Eddie was very considerate and helpful. He quickly returned all my text and phone calls. He was very knowledgeable and offered sound advice. Eddie took a stressful task and made it smooth and enjoyable. I am very grateful. Bryce, our sales representative, was truly what was the final deciding factor to buying our car when we did. We weren't necessarily looking to get our car as soon as we did, but with Bryce's knowledge and patience with the many questions I had, I knew this was the right place for my next car. It has been easy to schedule service appointments. All service reps ( Trevor, Mary Beth and Steve) have been very knowledgeable. They are not afraid to reach out to the tech to have any fault codes explained. Pricing has been fair, service has been timely. We have a focus on professionalism and customer service. I can tell you unequivocally that Mercedes-Benz at Long of Chattanooga exemplifies this. From Duke, and Maddie handling the Sales, James setting up the MBUX system, and Chad covering the financials, this dealership will take care of you. We drove 2 hours to get to this dealership and purchase our 2022 GLE 350, and will gladly drive 2 hours again for our next purchase.

We have dealt with Long of Chattanooga since 2009 when we bought a used Hyundai Entourage from another dealer. Long completed two recalls and extended warranty work on the van several times. We always had a terrific experience and once they even helped us get into my truck when my toddler daughter locked us out while dropping off our van. This week, we replaced the van with a Buick LaCrosse that we happened to buy used from Long.
The car was newly traded and had no pictures available online. Randy Francisco was very helpful in providing pictures, information and preparing the vehicle for my wife to see while I was out of town. The day I returned Craig Sias was extremely helpful and accommodating as we came late in the day to look at the car and stayed into the evening to finish up the sale.
We were very pleased with everyone we dealt with that night from Randy and Craig to the finance team. I've never been to any dealership where I could purchase a vehicle and be in and out in less that 90 minutes, not to mention the great service and hospitality we received.
