Just bought a car and had the best experience! Definitely ask for Argenis, he made my experience so smooth. Seriously the best experience I've had with buying a car. David was our finance guy and he was also very good and explained everything in great detail. Would highly recommend Vandergriff Hyundai for your next car buying experience.

When I made the appointment, I thought the repairs would've started the day I took my car in, that was a Saturday, but was informed that Vandergriff needed to call the warranty department before they could start any repairs. So I had to come back on Monday. What was the point of making the appointment I liked notifications link letting me know about my upcoming appointment. But the link didn't show the step-by-step process of my vehicle's repairs.

I've worked in the sales and customer service industry for over 8 years both in the B2B and D2C space. Hands down Nathaniel is the best salesman I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He was literally the best part about buying a car here. He made sure I was fully informed 100% of the time as he guided me and helped me avoid potential pitfalls of buying in the current market to insure I left that day with the car I wanted, and not have to wait months to get my new car.
He took the time post sale to walk me through all of the added benefits of my new purchase making me feel valued. I asked him if he needed to go so he could make another sale and he said his time was still mine. I was his priority and I felt that through the whole process. I needed to sell my wife's extra nice Mercedes. I went to several dealerships and Car buyers off the internet I passed by Vandergriff Hyundai on i 20. A very attentive young representative quickly came out to greet me named Alec. I told him my situation and he said lets go in and talk. Quickly he conversed with his manager and presented me with a very attractive offer.
I told him I wanted to check another dealer which was a waste if time, and returned back to see Alec. He had all the paper work ready and the whole deal went very smoothly. I highly recommend going to visit him if you or any one you know that is in the market for a nice automobile. Very pleasant experience. Thanks Guys.

I originally leased from this dealership back in 2019. It was a great experience and completely had me convinced they were the best dealership around. However, when it came time for me to buyout my lease I went to them to do the paperwork. Instead of my lease end contractual buyout quote, Vandergriff quoted me a first estimate that was almost $7,000 more.
This included a bunch of bunk options that I requested be removed from the calculation. They then returned with a figure $4,000 more than my buyout quote. These figure came from a "dealer prep" fee. It turns out, they wanted me to turn in my lease, and then purchase my lease off the lot at the same time. This is incredibly shady business, in addition to them holding the keys to my vehicle hostage when I was trying to leave.
Instead of giving me my keys, I was met with several different employees pressuring me to stay, until I discussed with the manager. I refuse to give them any service now. Which is disappointing considering how positive my initial leasing experience was.

One of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. I got the Santa Fe fully loaded at a good price for a fully loaded SUV. Ask for Patrick Rushing. He is great to work with. He was patient when I couldn't make up mind on which vehicle to purchase. He's patient and very knowledgeable. No haggling. He made the entire process simple and easy.

It's been a while since I've purchased a vehicle from any other dealership than the one I work at. Being in the business you sometimes look at other dealers as your competition. so I felt somewhat uncomfortable walking in however my salesman Cesar made me feel at ease immediately. He was thorough, friendly and went out of his way to make my experience stress free. Also a shout out to the F&I manager Alex for all his help securing my loan. I would highly recommend this dealership and make sure you ask for Cesar.

Went to this dealership with low expectations because I was looking for a particular car within a particular price. Was literally the last stop before going home, pulled up and Alec introduced himself and asked what I was interested in. He quickly showed me the car, took it for a test drive, worked some numbers, and now I'm a happy owner. The whole experience was pleasant and didn't take long at all!
The sales manager Luis was very helpful as well. I'm definitely coming back in the future and would recommend this dealership to anyone, even if you have challenging credit like I did. They will make it happen. 10/10

Wanted to express a situation that could have caused an accident and possible injury due to improper maintenance performed on my vehicle. Earlier in the month my Sonata Hybrid was brought in for a software update due to a recall. A few weeks after this update while traveling on the Freeway, traveling approx. 70mph the HEV system failed causing the vehicle to decelerate from 70mph to 45mph in just a few seconds.
With this rapid deceleration could have possible lead to an accident and injury in certain scenarios. I was lucky as I was able to get to the far right lane and exit almost immediately. The issue found at the dealership was when they performed the update they didn't do it correctly which caused vehicles HEV system to shut down. Also it took 3 weeks for them to diagnose and perform the update correctly which seems ridiculous for such a minor maintenance task.
The only reason I'm not rating lower as the service rep stated that their Shop Lead addressed this issue with the entire team to ensure they perform this task correctly as it posses a safety issue which at least to me they took this seriously. One other minor issue was during the three weeks it was in the shop I never got any calls from the service center keeping me updated as I had to call several times to find out the statues.
All in all if I have any maintenance that requires me to go to a dealership I'll be taking it to somewhere other than here even though this is the closet location as I'm not sure if this is an isolated incident or this reflects their maintenances practices.

Very disappointing experience, dishonest people. I called in on Tuesday to check the availability of a vehicle, the rep. scheduled an appointment for Thursday morning, when we arrived, the manager told us the car is not sold but a customer took it for an "extended test drive" Really! Can I try the car for couple of days before I buy it? And he promised to call us as soon as the car gets returned! Later, Chris who originally scheduled my appointment called to see when will we arrive to see the car and claimed it was his day off! Seriously?
I have to say they called and apologized that the car was not available until the next day because the customer who took it for the extended test drive decided to keep it an extra day. Wonderful! Lies lies and more lies!
